Located at the corner of 15th & Norris, Temple Hillel's building is wifi accessible (fully integrated into the University's network), has plenty of areas for lounging and studying, a fabulous Kosher delicatessen serving lunch and dinner 5 days a week, varied program areas and a warm and caring staff.

It was great seeing Michael Balaban, CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, stop by the Temple Hillel booth to say hello and chat during the Jewish America 250 celebration at historic Congregation Mikveh Israel. We were teaching and braiding challah with members of the Philadelphia Jewish community just as we do every week with Temple’s undergraduate and graduate students at Hillel.

We’re incredibly grateful for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s partnership. Through its annual allocation, donor-advised fund (DAF) grants, and so many other investments in our community, the Federation is one of Temple Hillel’s strongest supporters. That support helps us create meaningful Jewish experiences, leadership opportunities, and a vibrant Jewish home for hundreds of Temple students each year.

It was an honor to represent Temple Hillel with our Senior Jewish Educator “Rabbi B,” lead a challah-braiding workshop, and celebrate more than 250 years of Jewish life in America alongside so many dedicated community leaders.

Last month, we gathered with members of Philadelphia’s Jewish legal community for an evening of connection, celebration, and shared commitment to Jewish life on campus and beyond. Through the inspiring words of Coach Adam Fisher and the Honorable Mitchell S. Goldberg, Retired Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, we were reminded of the strength of our community and the power of partnership.
