Hillel at Temple University Hillel at Temple University Our purpose is to connect to students and allow their ideas, experiences, and leadership to guide and influence our programs.

Hillel at Temple University is dedicated to being a welcoming community, engaging students in Jewish culture through social, religious, and educational programming. Students will have the support and mentorship of our staff as they cultivate their own ways of living Jewishly and become Jewish campus leaders, passionate and excited about developing opportunities for their peers. Our building is open to all students and staff! Located at the corner of 15th & Norris, Temple Hillel's building is wifi accessible (fully integrated into the University's network), has plenty of areas for lounging and studying, a fabulous Kosher delicatessen serving lunch and dinner 5 days a week, varied program areas and a warm and caring staff.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of September 11, we are also preparing for Shabbat and Rosh Hashanah tonight. There is something deeply Jewish in this transition. We do not erase the past to begin again; we remember, honor those lost, and turn toward life together.

Tonight, as we light candles and gather around tables, the sound of the shofar calls us to imagine who we might yet become. May the year ahead be one of life, peace, and hope. Shanah Tovah from all of us at Temple Hillel! 🍎🍯
