Jesus never said, “I have the bread of life.” He said, “I AM the Bread of Life.” If He had said that He had the bread we needed, our salvation would be based on our own works.
Salvation comes through the grace of God as we place our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Praise God that our salvation does not depend on us!
