Reminder - we are worshipping at Grace United Methodist Church tomorrow morning at 9:00am. This will be a collaborative worship experience between OSLC and Grace. We will also hear from Lakes Area Food Shelf Executive Director Tammy Larsen, and celebrate our partnership in addressing food insecurity in the Lakes Area. We will reflect on the significance of food for our bodies and food for our souls. AND after worship we will enjoy ice cream sundaes, share in a blessing of the food pantry next door, and also tour the food shelf itself. Please come!

Lakes Area Food Shelf Congratulations at the opening of LAFS Baxter! Loving even more of our neighbors by addressing food insecurity in Crow Wing County.

The new branch of the Lakes Area Food Shelf officially opened its doors in Baxter on April 21.

We received nearly 20 more puzzles donated for our church puzzle lending library! Most of them are EZ grasp 300-piece puzzles. Please stop by church if you’d like to pick out a puzzle or two! We have puzzles of all shapes and sizes. 🧩

And the winner of this year's food shelf challenge between Our Savior's and Grace United Methodist Church Pequot Lakes is.....drum roll, please......Lakes Area Food Shelf!! So good! Thank you to everyone who donated food and funds to benefit feeding our neighbors! Grace and Our Savior's will be worshipping together at the end of May to celebrate this accomplishment, and more importantly, raise awareness of hunger insecurity and tell stories about how our community is better together!
