Col. Kenneth L. Reusser flew 253 combat missions in World War II, Korea and Vietnam and was shot down in all three conflicts, five times in all.

He earned 59 medals to include 2 Navy Crosses, 5 Purple Hearts, 2 Legions of Merit and 18 Air Medals. In 1944, he led a flight of Corsairs (Black Sheep Squadron) intending to shoot down a Japanese KI-45 "Nick" high-altitude photo reconnaissance airplane gathering information for the day's Kamikaze flights. With altitude frozen guns, the only weapon left was the Corsair itself. Ken and his wingman severely damaged the tail of the KI-45 with their propellers. It entered a graveyard spiral, breaking up before hitting the water. Ken and his wingman shared the kill.

During the Vietnam War, Reusser flew helicopters. He was leading a Marine Air Group in a rescue mission, when his own "Huey" was shot down. He needed skin grafts over 35 percent of his badly burned body. He retired from the Marine Corps in July 1968 making him one of the most decorated Marine aviator in history.

For those who may not have heard my son Michael in Nevada had a horrible accident with a table saw and cut off 2 of his fingers last Saturday Doctors were able to re attach them but he's out of work. Michael is soul provider for the family. Many have been praying and we're greatful God has been providing folks bringing food and helping me get their first house ready for his wife and 2 kids. Bruce his son fell out of the tree where the swing is and broke both his arm's which are now casted so their household is like a hospital now including Covid which some of them have. If you'd like to contribute towards the Mike DeMers family please DM me I can get you the details. Please pray for swift healing. Thanks. DeMers family

Has been awhile since I have posted so here's updates. Jail ministries going well peaked at 9 students on our series with Dr David Jeremiah agents of the apocalypse. Finally got an excavator interested in doing the house build for 1201 Pine St Brainerd. Best news when I have mailed out plans and requested proposals with no response. Meeting with banker in hopes of getting started soon. Keep us in your prayers. Thanks.
