What a Sunday! 🙌

Today we were reminded of the incredible price Christ paid for our redemption. Through His sacrifice, we have been forgiven, set free, and brought near to God. What a reason to worship!

We also had the joy of installing Travis Miller as an elder of Restoration Church. Travis is a humble and sacrificial man who deeply loves God, his family, and the church. He serves faithfully and wholeheartedly, and we are grateful for God’s calling on his life and for the way he will help shepherd our church.

A powerful morning of worship, God’s Word, and celebrating what God is doing at Restoration. ❤️

To God be the glory!

If salvation depended on our goodness, our effort, or our ability to make ourselves worthy, we would have something to brag about.

But grace tells a different story.

We didn’t earn it.
We didn’t deserve it.
God gave it.

That means the doctrine of grace should never make us proud—it should make us humble, grateful, and full of praise.

The more we understand what God has done for us in Christ, the less we boast in ourselves and the more we worship Him.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,” — Ephesians 2:8

All glory belongs to Him.

What a great Sunday at Restoration Church! 🙌

Today, Pastor Johnny continued our journey through Ephesians and reminded us of the incredible blessings we have in Christ.

We’re grateful for every conversation, every prayer, every family, and every person who gathered with us today. Sundays are special because we get to experience them together.

There is only one Jesus who saves!

Not a Jesus shaped by our preferences.
Not a Jesus redefined by culture.
Not a Jesus who is simply a good teacher, moral example, or spiritual guide.

The Jesus who saves is the Jesus who is:
The eternal Son of God.
The promised Messiah.
The crucified Savior.
The risen Lord.
The reigning King.

You can know facts about Jesus without knowing Jesus. You can be familiar with His name without having placed your faith in Him.

So the question is deeply personal: Do you know Him? Have you turned from your sin and trusted in Jesus Christ alone for salvation?

There is only one Jesus who saves. And He invites sinners to come to Him.

It matters which Jesus you believe in.

We don’t get to redefine Jesus according to our preferences, our culture, another religion, or what we want Him to be.

Jesus is not whoever we make Him out to be. He is who Scripture reveals Him to be.

He is the eternal Son of God.
Truly God and truly man.
The promised Messiah.
The sinless Savior who died in the place of sinners.
The risen King who conquered sin and death.
The Lord who reigns and will return.

Our hope isn’t found in a Jesus we create for ourselves. Our hope is found in Jesus Christ as He has revealed Himself in His Word.

So the question isn’t simply, “Do I believe in Jesus?” The question is: Do I believe in the Jesus of Scripture?

If you see yourself as “just a sinner,” temptation can start to feel inevitable.

But Scripture reminds believers of a deeper truth: you are a saint—set apart by God, for God, and for His glory.

That doesn’t mean you no longer struggle with sin. It means sin no longer gets to define you. So when temptation comes, you don’t have to say, “This is just who I am.”

You can remember: I belong to Christ. His Spirit lives in me. I have been set apart for Him.

Don’t fight sin to earn a new identity. Fight sin from the identity you’ve been given in Christ.

What a Sunday! 🙌

Today we kicked off our new series in Ephesians with a powerful reminder of who we are in Christ: We are saints. We belong to Jesus. We have been set apart for Him.

Our identity isn’t found in what we’ve done—it’s found in what Christ has done for us.

And this is just the beginning. Next Sunday can’t come soon enough!
