Ungodliness eventually reveals itself in everyday character.

Jude gives us five recognizable traits:

“These are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage.”
—Jude 16

So examine your heart:

What fills your mouth when life becomes difficult?
Are you grateful, or do you chronically complain?

Are you being led by God’s Word, or by whichever desire feels strongest?

When you speak, do you have more to say about yourself—or more to say about Jesus?

We often talk most about what we love most.
