Sing Psalms and hear God's Word. We welcome you to Christ the King Reformed Church in Phoenix, AZ.

CTK affirms the Lordship of Jesus Christ over all areas of our lives. We are a Christian community applying the redemptive truths of scripture to family, education, vocation, government, and spiritual formation. We accomplish this in our public worship, our midweek studies, our community events, fellowship and devotions. On our web page, you can find information about us, past sermons, contact inf

ormation, and a link to our Youtube page. We hold to the historic Christian faith as expressed in the creeds of the faith. The Westminster Confession begins by telling us that the light of nature and the works of creation and providence do so far manifest the goodness, wisdom, and power of God so that unbelief is without excuse and also that redemptive knowledge is found only in the scriptures. We affirm the doctrine of clarity, the necessity of scripture, the biblical worldview, postmillennialism, and exclusive psalmody.

When comfort becomes dangerous…. Sometimes we get too comfortable in our faith and forget the seriousness of sin. The law serves as a wake-up call, reminding us of God's holiness and our need for Him.
Are you living with holy reverence or dangerous comfort?

The deepest restoration we need is not better circumstances, but reconciliation with God. Jesus came to bring that. Through His death our guilt is forgiven. Through His resurrection new life begins. Through His Spirit dead hearts are made alive. The renewal we long for begins with grace found in Christ. Apart from Him, true renewal is not possible. We are nothing without Christ.

Matthew 6:31–33
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

What kind of world does a sinner deserve from God? When we answer honestly, we see that every good gift we receive is mercy upon mercy. We deserve judgment, yet God is patient, kind, and gracious. His purposes do not end in judgment alone, but in the hallowing of His name and the redemption of His people.

No promise this world offers can give what God alone provides. Wealth, praise, possessions, and pleasures can never truly satisfy the soul. Our true happiness and greatest joy are found in the Lord, through Christ, and in walking in His ways.

“My well beloved” - these words remind us that God is worthy of our highest love. When He is our greatest treasure, every choice from morning to night can become an act of worship. Are you living today for His glory and bearing fruit for Him?

The irony is striking! We marvel at human-designed robots but dismiss the incredible design of the human body as 'blind chance.' Romans 1 reminds us that creation itself declares God's glory - yet we often miss what's right in front of us. Are we truly seeing God's handiwork?

REMINDER: Your faith connects you to giants! From those who stopped rain to missionaries who changed nations - you're part of their story. Abel, Moses, Spurgeon, reformers, and countless others who blazed the trail before you. Most importantly, you belong to CHRIST! Don't let the enemy make you feel small when you're surrounded by such a mighty heritage!
