There is no better way to start Father's Day than worshipping and learning from God's Word! Pastor Steve Isaac will share an encouraging and challenging message titled, "Good Fathers, Great Leaders, and Following Jesus". Here's an excerpt:

"The forceful biblical instruction and formidable research are undeniable. Because of the magnitude of his influence, the father—in one generation—will either significantly strengthen or deeply damage almost every aspect of society through his direct impact."

What a wonderful Reunion day! We welcomed Pastor Steve home, were encouraged, strengthened, and challenged by his report of how God is moving and including us in His plans to go into all the world and make disciples. We did what Reunion does… we love God, teach His Truth, and care for one another in fellowship, Communion, and prayer.

Tomorrow, June 14th, we welcome home Pastor Steve Isaac. He will be sharing about the divine appointments God had in store, as well as the good report of all God did during his time in Zimbabwe with Church Tynwald, Celebration Churches International, and Celebration College. He will also report back on his outreach in Botswana, with many thanks to Pastor Patrick Inkoom and Apostle Moffat R. Lubinda for all of the effort and support while in country, and the privilege of meeting so many faithful men and women of God serving in pastoral leadership.

Dr. Steve Isaac has completed his outreach in Palapye, Botswana, meeting with fifty pastors to discuss the threat of growing governmental control over churches and the necessity of having a theology degree to protect their churches and be more fully equipped for Kingdom service.

Dr. Vickie Isaac is teaching tomorrow at The Reunion Church. Join us! The teaching, titled "Get Out of the Boat", chronicles the life of Peter the Apostle. Her opening paragraph:

"We all face moments of choosing… when the Holy Spirit nudges us, do we step out in faith regardless of what circumstances look like, or rationalize the moment where the miraculous can occur, and stay in our safe, secure, and need I say, stagnant comfort zone. What we do in those “out of the boat” impacts how our faith does or does not grow, how God uses or does not use us for His Kingdom purposes. I find the life of Peter very encouraging - his humanity gives me hope and I hope his story will give you hope as well."

I think the life of Peter is very encouraging - I am grateful that his humanity was included in Scripture. It gives me hope, and today, as we look at some pivotal moments in his life, I hope they will give you hope as well.
