Love is the most significant and essential of the Gifts and Fruit of the Spirit. Love is both commanded and available to the Church. In fact, it is love that validates and verifies the very message and mission of the Christian Church. It is love that validates and empowers all of the gifts of the Spirit. Love is also the evidence - the Holy Spirit is indeed present - manifested - edifying and equipping the entire body of Christ - the household of faith.

John 13:34-35 ESV
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”

If you didn't make it to Kick-Off Sunday, you missed out and were missed! What a wonderful opportunity to encourage young athletes, students, teachers, and families. Coach Ron Sowers was so transparent about his walk of faith and his pivotal moment of surrender, Coaches Billy Carter and Josh Smith's words of encouragement, and Pastor Steve's ( ) challenging message about changing your identity... Then powerful prayer for the people who came forward to commit to Christ's identity, and a prayer for all students, athletes, and teachers... This is what church should be about - outreach to the community to share the light and love of Christ. Thanks for joining us, Centennial Coyotes both Coach Taylors, Coach Thiele, and other coaches and students from around the Valley!

Sharing the love of Jesus through The Reunion Church Missions outreach to Ira A Murphy Elementary School, where many families struggle to provide basic necessities for their children. Did you know that the donations you share on Sunday mornings for coffee, bagels, water, etc. fund our missions outreach? This also includes sponsoring an African pastor’s biblical education through The Fully Equipped Bible Institute. Called to Equip (Part 1)

Introduction
The term disciple comes from the Greek mathetes and means one who is a learner and follower; the term apostle, of course, comes from the Greek word apostolos and means one who is sent. According to the Gospel of Luke, Jesus spent an entire night in prayer and early the next morning called His disciples together and chose twelve from among them, giving them the specific title “apostles.” They were disciples (learners and followers); they had been taught and equipped by Jesus Himself as they followed, and now He had called and commissioned twelve of them as apostles.

The Gospels of Matthew 10:1-4, Mark 3:13-19, and Luke 6:12-16 describe
this call and commission of Jesus of disciples to apostles.
Luke 6:12-16 ESV
“In these days He [Jesus] went out to the mountain to pray, and all
night He continued in prayer to God. And when day came, He called
His disciples and chose from them twelve, whom He named
apostles: Simon, whom He named Peter, and Andrew his brother,
and James and John, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew,
and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon who was
called the Zealot, and Judas the son of James, and Judas Iscariot,
who became a traitor.”
