Here is what we will be covering...
What does God think about social media?
Would love to read or hear any thoughts, comments, or questions now, during our live church feed, or after.
Lord, please help these words to draw us all nearer to You, to be fired up to learn Your Word like never before, & to connect with others into the best days ahead...infinitely!
Here are 3 Biblical based points to consider:
1. Jesus did not come to Earth to condemn people. He did not come with an accusing finger, criticizing others. Anyone refusing to trust & live a committed life to Jesus Christ, the One Truth Living God, has long since been under a death sentence without knowing it. Jesus came to help others, to make the world a better place. This does not mean He was tolerant of all, or that He shrunk from boldly & firmly speaking truth. And, He certainly was not tolerant of many experts & religious leaders (John 3:16-18).
2. Be careful that you are not persuaded or filled with anxiety by mob emotion(Acts 21, Exodus 32). Do not conform to popular messages apart from God(Romans 12:2). Dammit, read & understand the entire Bible & don’t stop learning!(Joshua 1:8, John 1, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Matthew 23). False reports by so-called experts, pandemics, threats, & tragic deaths will happen(Matthew 24:4-8). No government will avoid corruption; do not be surprised(Ecclesiastes 5:8). These things must happen before the Earth is restored with Me on the throne. So relax & don’t worry for God’s sake!(Matthew 6:25-27, Matthew 24:6). Go into all the world and respectfully share the True message of Jesus Christ to all creation (Mark 16:15).
3. I know I distressed you greatly with my letter. Although I felt awful at the time, I don’t feel at all bad now that I see how it turned out. The letter upset you, but only for a while. Now I’m glad—not that you were upset, but that you were jarred into turning things around. You let the distress bring you to God, not drive you from him. The result was all gain, no loss” (2 Corinthians 7:8-9).
And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
