Oppose the Special Use Permit for 1936 Hickory Flats Road
Let Your Voice Be Heard!
Lee Memorial Gardens opposes the special use permit for the 1936 Hickory Flats Road property. This property is not owned by Lee Memorial Gardens; however, it adjoins the cemetery on the southeastern end of the cemetery. The special use permit is for the intended purposes of either an automotive salvage yard or an automotive graveyard. Such usage will not only result in a nuisance affecting the use and enjoyment of adjoining landowners and landowners in the general area but unfairly risk detrimental environmental hazards harmful to fellow landowners who utilize and enjoy his or her land for the intended and designated lawful purposes. While certain legal steps must be followed, we believe it’s important for the community to make their voices heard on this matter. If you oppose this special use permit, here’s what you can do:
