☀️ MONDAY MORNING DEVOTION ☀️

KEEP PRAYING — EVEN WHEN IT LOOKS IMPOSSIBLE 🙏

Peter was in prison.

He was guarded by soldiers. He was bound with chains. From the outside looking in, there didn’t seem to be a way out.

But while Peter was sitting in that prison, the church was praying.

“Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.” — Acts 12:5 KJV

And while they were praying, GOD WAS MOVING.

An angel came.
The chains fell off.
The prison doors opened.
And Peter walked out!

Somebody needs to hear this Monday morning:

DON’T STOP PRAYING JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN’T SEE A WAY OUT.

Keep praying for that child.
Keep praying for your marriage.
Keep praying for the person battling addiction.
Keep praying for your family.
Keep praying for healing.
Keep praying for the one who has walked away from God.

You may not be able to see what God is doing—but that doesn’t mean God isn’t working.

The church prayed for Peter when they couldn’t get to him themselves.

Sometimes that’s exactly where we find ourselves. We can’t fix it. We can’t change it. We can’t reach them.

But we can PRAY. 🙏

Whatever you’re carrying into this new week, take it to Jesus.

KEEP PRAYING. KEEP BELIEVING. AND NEVER UNDERESTIMATE WHAT GOD CAN DO. ❤️

🍳 MEDIA TEAM AED BREAKFAST FUNDRAISER
Sunday, September 13th after service — $10 per plate. Biscuits & homemade gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage! We are continuing to work toward getting an AED for our church.

🙌 PRE-TEENS & TEENS YOUTH RALLY
Saturday, September 26th at 4:15 PM. We encourage our young people to come experience a wonderful day of worship, fellowship and fun!

🙏 PRAYER REQUESTS
Please continue praying for Jerry Collins, Jim Shuler, Kay Thompson, Rodney Hill, our church, our government and leaders, and all those who do not know Jesus.

🎁 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

📖 OPEN YOUR BIBLE THURSDAY 📖

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
— Romans 3:23 KJV

Every single one of us has fallen short.

It doesn’t matter where you came from, what you’ve done, how long you’ve been away from church, or how many mistakes are behind you.

We ALL need Jesus.

But Romans 3 doesn’t stop with our sin. It points us straight to GRACE. ❤️

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:”
— Romans 3:24 KJV

You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Jesus.

Come to Him—and let Him change you.

Today, open your Bible.
Read Romans Chapter 3.
And ask yourself:

If Jesus came back today… am I ready?

✝️ COME AS YOU ARE — JESUS IS STILL SAVING!

That verse says ALL.

Not some of us.
Not just the people with a past.
Not just the people struggling today.

ALL OF US.

None of us walks into church perfect. We all need the same grace, the same forgiveness, and the same Savior — Jesus Christ.

Maybe you’ve been thinking about coming to church but something keeps holding you back. Maybe you think you need to straighten your life up first.

You don’t clean yourself up to come to Jesus. You come to Jesus and let Him change your life.

We are also looking for more young people ages 11–16 who would like to join the Media Team.

And don’t worry — you DO NOT have to be in front of the camera! There are plenty of ways to be part of the team behind the scenes, including helping with cameras, microphones, notes, production, and more.

❤️ And you do NOT have to attend Freedom Of Worship to be a member of our Media Team! If you’re between the ages of 11–16 and would like to learn, help, make friends, and be part of something centered around God, we’d love to hear from you.

🚨 A NEW MONTH BEGINS TOMORROW… BUT ONE DAY, TIME WILL RUN OUT. 🚨

September is here. 🍂
Leave the past in the rearview mirror. You can’t go back and change yesterday—but you can make a choice about where you’re headed today.

One day JESUS CHRIST WILL RETURN.

The question isn’t if He is coming.

The question is…

ARE YOU READY?

If Jesus returned today, would you be ready to meet Him?

Or are you living like you have all the time in the world?

🔥 HEAVEN IS REAL. HELL IS REAL. ETERNITY IS FOREVER.

Don’t wait until “someday” to get right with God.

“…behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” — 2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV

🙏 And because it’s Prayer Request Tuesday, tell us:

❤️ MONDAY DEVOTION — DON’T BE AFRAID TO REACH OUT

“Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”
— Matthew 14:27 KJV

Yesterday we were reminded of something that has stayed on my heart:

We cannot be afraid to invite someone to church.

Peter had to step out of the boat. He had to trust Jesus enough to take that step even while the wind was blowing and the waves were around him.

Sometimes our step of faith is much simpler.

It may be walking up to someone and saying, “Would you come to church with me?”

We worry they might say no.
We worry about what they’ll think.
We worry about being embarrassed.

But what if they say yes?

What if that invitation is the reason they walk through the church doors, hear the Gospel, and give their life to Jesus?

Hell is real. Eternity is real. And the people around us matter.

Someone’s soul is worth getting a little uncomfortable for.

This week, don’t let fear keep you in the boat.

Invite somebody.
Tell somebody about Jesus.
Pray for somebody.
And trust God with what happens next.
