These photos capture something simple. And something powerful.

Harvest Bible College in Bangula, Malawi recently received reading glasses from God’s Eyes for the very first time. What you’re seeing here are real students in the moment they put them on.

For many of them, this was the first time they could clearly read their Bibles.

Several students shared that before coming to Bible school, reading Scripture was difficult and frustrating because of poor eyesight. Now they are reading with confidence and joy. You can see it on their faces.

This is not just about vision correction.

It is about future pastors, teachers, and leaders being able to study the Word clearly. It is about strengthening the Church in Malawi. It is about removing a barrier that quietly held them back.

Every student has been carefully recorded. Every pair was placed into real hands. Every testimony matters.

Thank you to every donor who made this possible.

You are not just sending glasses.
You are opening Bibles.
You are equipping leaders.
You are strengthening the Church.

And these photos are proof.

Last summer in Tennessee, God’s Eyes had the privilege of placing 20 full SightStation Kits, each with 350 pairs of glasses, into the hands of 19 missionaries from around the world. One of the recipients was Bruno, a base leader of Iris Ministries in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Recently, Bruno emailed us and shared how those glasses were used during an outreach to a small and humble village in the countryside.

The region has experienced long-standing spiritual tension, and the Christian witness there has been fragile. Before showing the Jesus Film, Bruno and his team chose to walk from house to house. They listened. They prayed. They built trust.

That is how they met Mr. Edson and Mrs. Maria, a humble couple married more than 40 years ago.

Mr. Edson shared about a severe heart condition he has battled for years. One of the missionaries shared his own testimony of surviving heart attacks and being restored by Jesus. The conversation led to a powerful moment, and right there outside his home, Mr. Edson surrendered his life to Christ.

In the days that followed, Mrs. Maria watched the Jesus Film and was deeply moved. The couple received an audio Bible so they could hear God’s Word daily.

There was also a practical need.

Because they work long hours in the fields under the intense Brazilian sun, both were struggling with eye strain.

From that SightStation Kit, Bruno’s team was able to bless them with eyeglasses that eliminated their eye strain.

A simple gift.
But deeply meaningful.

In a place marked by poverty and division, the Gospel was not only proclaimed. It was demonstrated.

Through testimony.
Through the Word.
Through a pair of glasses.

Thank you for helping us send sight, both physical and spiritual, to the nations.

What begins with vision often opens the door to something eternal.

This photo represents why we do what we do—restored sight, shared hope, and the quiet joy that follows obedience.

As we look toward 2026, we’re grateful for everyone who has walked with this work and helped make moments like this possible.

We’ve shared a simple look at what’s ahead this year for those who want to see where we’re headed next:

✨ Stories Worth Seeing Again (in 2026) ✨

Heraldo is 61 years old.

Seventeen years ago, he lost all vision in his left eye.
Nine months ago, he lost all vision in his right eye.

For months, he was completely blind—led everywhere he went by someone else.

Then, about a month ago, something unexpected happened. He began to see just a little out of his right eye.

Today, Heraldo came to one of our eye clinics.

After an eye exam, he received two pairs of glasses from Bryan Kaiser. With new presecription glasses, his distance vision improved to around 20/50, and with new reading glasses he was able to read his Bible again.

He wouldn’t stop reading it.

As he sat there reading Scripture, tears streamed down his face. Before he left, we were also able to give him a small amount of money to help him make the long journey back home.

He left smiling—overwhelmed with joy. Seeing again. Reading God’s Word again. And reminded that he had not been forgotten.

Moments like this are possible because someone chose to give.

For just $13, one person can receive an eye exam, glasses, and a moment like this—restored sight and renewed hope, given freely in Jesus’ name.

✨ Storie (Emails) Worth Seeing Again ✨

Years ago, Bryan Kaiser received this heartfelt letter from Pat Robertson. It wasn’t long or flashy—but it carried the full weight of someone who truly saw what God was doing through this ministry:

Sometimes, the quietest affirmations are the loudest confirmations.

This simple note reminded us that the work we do—whether in the slums of Nairobi, mountain villages in Peru, or makeshift clinics in garbage dumps—matters. That people see. That God sees.

And that as long as there are those still walking in physical and spiritual darkness, we will keep going.

As we look toward 2026, we’re reminded that obedience often starts with a single, unseen step. Our prayer is that this story gives you courage to say yes to what God is asking of you—even before the outcome is clear.

Most of us don’t think twice about seeing clearly.

But for millions of people, poor vision means they can’t work, read Scripture, care for their family, or move safely through the world.

This is why God’s Eyes exists.

This Christmas season, we’re reminded that God is still at work—bringing light into dark places and restoring what has been lost.

Hamisi, from Tanzania is 71 years old. When he arrived at our eye clinic, he carried a visible heaviness—worn down, burdened, and oppressed by years of struggle, as if the weight of life itself had settled on him.

But God had other plans.

Through a simple eye exam and the gift of prescription glasses, Hamisi didn’t just receive clearer vision, he experienced renewed joy. His face lit up. His eyes came alive. In a very real way, light returned.

At Christmas, we celebrate Jesus, the Light of the World, stepping into human history to bring hope, healing, and restoration. For Hamisi, that truth became tangible through the gift of sight.

God’s Eyes exists to follow Jesus into the margins, bringing vision to the poor and pointing to the greater work God is doing across the planet.
