Revoking the Soul’s Bill of Divorcement with Rev. Nancy Peterson

It’s exhausting trying to think our way to God. Sometimes in metaphysical circles it feels like we treat Truth like a giant science experiment — we clean up our thoughts, we say our nice affirmations, but our hearts still feel bone-dry and our bodies are left carrying all the heavy, unspoken stress of just trying to get through life. Let’s look at how the prophet Hosea, the Spanish mystic St. Teresa of Avila, and our own Charles Fillmore, all gave us the exact same warning: stop divorcing your spirituality from your actual flesh and blood. If you’re ready to get out of your head, stop settling for hollow mental concepts, and actually feel a divine intimacy right in your own bones, join us.

Happy Halloween🎃👻

****Celebrating all the metaphysical wonders of Halloween is this Sunday's treat. Halloween actually means "Holy Evening", the night when everything holy is celebrated. This celebration started to honor the past, bless the harvest and look to the future. The meaning of masks and costumes is to not hide our real selves; the wisdom of our ancestors comes in their spirits, we let go of the ghosts of the past, Jack O Lanterns let our light within shine; goblins are symbols of our negativity and harmful thoughts; orange and black celebrates the vibrance and the mystery of life, and the word witch comes from "wicca" which means "wise" and they were the healers and held in high regard.

****Today we will play lots of games, bean bag toss, warts on witches, spider jump, skeleton assembling, making edible spider webs, eyeball toss, bottle up, bobbing for donuts, "giants, wizards, trolls" and more. Children will meet in the back for the games.

****Let us celebrate our wisdom, our blessings, and our vibrance and let our light shine.

The Divine light within you finds expression in the way you live - a kind word, a listening ear, a moment of compassion. ✨

At Unity of Palm Harbor, we believe each of us has something sacred to share. Let your light help someone remember their own. 💙

You don’t have to see the whole path to take your next step. 🧭

Beneath the noise of expectations and uncertainty, Spirit offers a quiet invitation: pause, listen, and trust the wisdom within. Let love guide your choices and peace help you find your bearings.

What might shift today if you made room to listen? 💜

Come join your hosts, Sue and Jeff Domfort, Reiki Masters, for a Reiki share every third Wednesday of the month at 7 pm in the sanctuary. You can either lay on a massage table or sit on a chair, whichever feels right for you. Reiki cleanses, restores, rebalances, and renews all the energy centers in your body, which promote and nourish physical, mental, and emotional health and healing.

This Reiki Circle is open to Energy healers who would like to share energy, build community, and support each other‘s healing and growth as well as anyone who wants to receive a Reiki treatment, no experience necessary to receive treatments. Just show up and experience the divinely guided benefits of Reiki. Please refrain from wearing fragrances due to other people‘s sensitivity, as this is a completely welcoming and healing space. Love offering gratefully received.

Sweat Equity with Dieter Randolph

Life works well when we work with God. We can identify with the solution instead of with the struggle.

Scripture: “But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.” (James 2:18)

****We are part of the stardust. Our Spirits are whole and complete. Our human side is always learning. When we become transcendent, we can see the whole beyond the "I want". For separation we can practice communion from the heart, for misperception we can practice seeing truthfully with eyes of the heart, for competition we can practice purpose to bring peace to a situation, for defensiveness we can practice non-resistance: going with the flow. "Tell me more" helps to clarify any judgments.

****Today we will: primary- sacred circle, pass the heart blessing, prayer, "Part of the Stars", discussion, star art, connection game, teens- chapter 5 of "I of the Storm", judgment, teacher, inner, outer resources, "tell me more".

****I am in perfect unity with my Spirit Self in all situations.
