All Saints was established on November 1, 1987 by the Most Rev. Thomas Larkin, second bishop of the Diocese of St. Greg Andrews was named its founder and began his mission to build the new parish community. The ten-acre site for All Saints was originally purchased decades earlier by Archbishop Joseph P. Hurley, when the Diocese of St. Augustine encompassed the entire state of Florida

The tempora

ry home for the parish was leased in Clover Place on Tampa Road, sharing walls with a pizza parlor and a video repair shop for two years, and became affectionately known as “Saints ‘R Us.” Groundbreaking for the new Parish Center, a 13,500 square foot multi-purpose building, took place on All Saints’ first anniversary, November 1, 1988. After one year, the parish had several hundred families registered and many active ministries. Opening just in time for Christmas, the first Mass was celebrated in the new worship space for the first time on December 23, 1989. After ten years, the parish began to envision the original dream of a permanent church. Following several years of evaluation and consultation with an architect, a concensus began to form that a major structural expansion and renovation would be a more cost-effective alternative. Groundbreaking for the renovated church took place at high noon on Sunday, September 1, 2002. During construction, Mass was relocated to Curlew Creek Elementary School, just blocks away from All Saints, for nine long months, from November 2002 to July 2003. The newly renovated church was re-dedicated on August 2, 2003 by the Most Rev. Robert N. Lynch, fourth bishop of the Diocese of St.
