Today we surprised Mary Lou Thomas with a 90th birthday party! We all wore purple, her favorite color. Her cousin and husband flew in from Texas and her four children all treated us to a delicious meal from Carraba's. She was truly shocked, surprised, and so grateful to all. We love you, Mary Lou!! 💜🌟🎉🎈🎶💜

Take Time to be Holy

Rev. Nancy will share her message on Zeal and Power as she speaks on “Take Time to be Holy.” While it is true that we may enthusiastically follow our calling and create our lives around it, the good can be crushed by the physical frenzy. Society praises and rewards for production, the government measures GDP – gross domestic product, and we measure demonstrations for peace by the size of the crowd carrying signs. But what about that outward frenzy? Is it invigorating or exhausting? We will explore how zeal can result in burnout and how to stay in alignment with our calling.
