West Kentucky FCA

To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes FCA Teams have also been created to impact the sports community.

The Four C’s of Ministry:

Coaches Ministry

The Coaches Ministry vision is to redeem sports through transformed coaches. FCA ministers to coaches through Bible studies, prayer support, discipleship and mentoring, resources, outreach events and retreats. Campus Ministry

The Campus Ministry is initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school and college campuses. It ha

s four ministry types: Huddles, Team Bible Studies, Chaplain Programs and Coaches Bible Studies. Additionally, outreach events take place on the campus such as One Way 2 Play — Drug Free programs, school assemblies and the annual Fields of Faith event. Camp Ministry

Camps are a time of “inspirations and perspiration” for coaches and athletes to reach their potential by offering comprehensive athletic, spiritual and leadership training. These types of camps are Sports Camp, Leadership Camp, Coaches Camp, Power Camp, Partnership Camp, Team Camp and International Camp. Community Ministry

The “win” of Community Ministry is to see the community reached for Jesus Christ through adult involvement. FCA partners with local churches, businesses, parents and volunteers to invest in coaches and athletes participating in club, recreational and youth sports teams. Other areas of Community Ministry include adult ministries, professional athlete ministries, resources and clinics. The FCA Values

Our relationships will demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and His Word through Integrity, Serving, Teamwork and Excellence. Integrity

We will demonstrate Christ-like wholeness, privately, and publicly. (Proverbs 11:3)

Serving

We will model Jesus’ example of serving. (John 13:1-17)

Teamwork

We will express our unity in Christ in all our relationships. (Philippians 2:1-4)

Excellence

We will honor and glorify God in all we do. (Colossians 3:23-24)

Tuesday night we had our 4th annual Senior Sendoff for students who were involved in our FCA ministry, a night to say thank you and also encourage them before they move on to this next season of life. Zach Shipley, Murray State FCA Director and Hardin college leader, gave a Senior Charge, challenging them to remember who they are and why they are at college. Our college panel of Weslyn Durfee, Caroline Murphy, Connor McIntosh and Noah Birney, answered questions/gave advice about staying strong in your faith during college. We ended the night with a special time of prayer with the students and parents. So much love for these students right here—looking forward to how God uses each of them in the future!

Come join us for the 10th Annual 7V7 & Lineman Challenge! It will be a fun night of football as we gear up for the 2026 season.

7V7 Competitions will be held at two locations: Murray State University Intramural Fields and Calloway County High School Game Field.

The Lineman Challenge will be held at Calloway County High School at 6:15 PM.

The West KY FCA Area was amazingly represented at FCA Leadership Camp last week!

Over 600 students total were present at Western Kentucky University to learn more about Jesus and sharing the gospel with others.

Thank you for your continuous support in helping making events like Leadership Camp possible! It’s events like this where student athletes in our area are equipped and empowered to come back and spread the gospel in their schools and on their teams.

This wouldn’t be possible without your support and the grace of God!

Huddle Leaders are college students who guide the Middle and High School Huddles (small groups) throughout their time at FCA Leadership Camp. Without them, camp would not have the impact it has. They truly are the hands and feet of the week!
