Happy Pride Month
Jude 4: "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”

This speaks of evil infiltrating ancient cultures. Including S***m and Gomorrah. From the beginning, Satan instilled Pride. In Genesis 3:5, Satan told Eve, “…ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.” The word Pride isn’t used, but their desire to elevate their desires, judgment, and authority above God's Word is evident, starting humanity’s Pride Slide into depravity.

Happy Pride Month

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”

I’m guilty of some. No one deserves God’s kingdom, especially me. But verse 11 gives hope in Jesus. “And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.”

Romans 1:27: "and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.”

When asked if Homosexuals are going to hell. I said. I think it’s whether you choose to practice. Read Romans 1:18-32. Jesus gives followers grace to live in the Spirit. I’m an addict no longer using. In Exodus 18:22, Pharmakeia, Hebrew for witchcraft or drug, requires a death sentence. Life is only available when I follow Christ rather than my flesh.

Daniel 4:37, "Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right, and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble."

Daviel warned Nebuchadnezzar, but the king said in verse 30, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honor of my majesty?” God struck him dumb, and he lived like an animal until he finally confessed the opening verse. “Those who walk in pride, he is able to humble.”

Proverbs 8:12-13: " I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions. The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate."

God dwells with those following His Holy Spirit. He has plans for you. We are to be Holy as He is holy, so His followers hate pride, which leads to evil. This is the only time “Geah”, the Hebrew word translated as pride, appears in the Bible. Usually, the next word, gaw-ohn’/arrogance, is used. In Pride and arrogance, we reject God.

Leviticus 20:13: "If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

Does Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 18:15-20 describe a process leading to the Law’s punishment? Did offenses only reach priests after pride led offenders to reject God entirely? I was an addict. Galatians 5:19-21 makes it clear who I was rejecting. Pharmakeia, the Greek word translated “witchcraft in the Bible, also means drug. Exodus 18:22 says, it deserves death. Pride keeps us in bo***ge. Jesus frees.

Happy Pride Month
James 4:6: "But he gives more grace. Therefore, it says, 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’"

I must admit, I’m self-centered by nature. I usually react to situations based on my feelings. I have to stop and think about how someone else might feel. My pride guides my reaction rather than God. It ain’t about me, Jesus taught, Love others as Yourself. Jesus was Lord of all, yet He thought of us as He suffered and died for our salvation. I have to continually search my heart, ask for forgiveness, and seek His guidance. Jesus served.

Leviticus 18:22: "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.”

Pride and self-absorption prompt us to reject objective morality that is grounded in common sense. In Genesis 1:28, God tells His creation to be fruitful and multiply. Procreation only happens with two genders. In Matthew 19:4-5, Jesus said, “…Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?

Genesis 19:24-25, “Then the LORD rained upon S***m and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.”

In Matthew 11:20-24, Jesus taught that if the miracles he performed had been seen in S***m, they would have repented of their PRIDE. God will judge everyone, so it’s essential we live holy lives. 2 Peter 3:10, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…” (Please read the rest)
