THE TABLES ARE TURNING:

From turning over tables to returning back to tables, much of Christ ministry and expression was around a table. It’s time to get back to table top Christianity.

I want to thank Mitch Hall and Woodart Specialties for crafting and creating a one of one art piece that will become a new forge for TFM. You captured a new heart expression of what’s coming.

COMING TO A REGION NEAR YOU:

The apostolic and prophetic will be so equally yoked that the foundation will be so strong that the evangelist will not only have a launching pad but a returning pad. The teacher will have a teaching and training place and the pastor will have a tending and mending pasture.

This will not be done in isolation any longer from each other but will be joined with apostolic vision and prophetic voice. All together they will equip the strongest, and put together the maturest living stones in the modern era. Living epistles are coming not just hand written books about a subject.

THE VISION OF THE THRESHING FLOOR:

Imagine a place and an atmosphere where the wheat is separated from the chaff with precision. Now, envision apostolic and prophetic expressions as the hands guiding this process, shifting not just the grain of an individual soul but entire cities and regions toward the Kingdom of God.

The Threshing Floor, it’s a transformative sight, where the old is discarded, and the new emerges, shaping landscapes and destinies in alignment with divine purpose. A call to establish a base (the foundational floor) that can ascend the summit (the Hill of the Lord) of Psalm 24.

I wanted to post a song that stirred my heart multiple years ago by Jason Upton. He was and still is a voice that cuts through culture and draws us into Kingdom.

This song I’m posting now was the song that inspired the ministry of Threshing Floor. I hope it moves you the way it still to this day moves me. The first time I heard it, I had to pull off to the side of the road. I was unable to drive. This was a genesis moment.

The end of a thing is better than its beginning.

After 18 years of fostering and pioneering the Kingdom's presence known in our community as Freedom Center, we are embarking on a new journey under our original ministry maybe not known to many as Threshing Floor Ministries.

Janis and I want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of Freedom Center. We bless the established expression remaining in the city as well as the forthcoming endeavors of expanding the Kingdom in other cities and regions God would have us go.

Public gatherings at our current location will cease. Thank you for enabling the manifestation of the Kingdom and the fulfillment of His will. We say thank you to all that blessed our coming in and our going out.

THE DRAWING AWAY NOT THE FALLING AWAY:

Romans 7:23
I see a different law and rule of action in the members of my body [in its appetites and desires], waging war against the law of my mind and subduing me and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is within my members.

I sense we are in a heightened moment of the cultural norms that are within us, that are drawing us away and warring against what The Kingdom age is asking of us.

I see and hear the battle within us as the Kingdom age is wrestling with the church age systems that we’ve cut our teeth on.

There is a grace for this moment but legalistic thinking and crafted norms we were molded in become the stronghold walls around us that keeps grace from empowering.

We then are drawn away from grace without actually falling away from God. Meaning that results is us doing things out of a captive mindset (warring of soul) instead of a freed spirit. Then there is a constant showdown inside of yourself.

The only way to be free of this warring is less reliance on your thinking and past experiences and expression (this is what Paul was fighting) and more reliance on Holy Spirit and fresh Spirit encounters.

I love how the apostle Paul himself finishes this warring match at the end of the chapter, “Who can deliver me from carrying around this co**se?” Fighting a dead co**se is worse than “riding a dead horse”. He then concludes, “Thanks be to the Lord Jesus Christ.”

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:

The drawing away ends when we first draw near to God. Don’t settle for knockoff cultural Christianity when you can freely have Kingdom Christianity.

In the imagery of the old western standoffs and showdowns I hear the word “DRAW”!!!

Draw near or draw away? DRAW!!!
