You are Worthy Ministries

You are Worthy Ministries You Are Worthy Ministries is dedicated to glorifying Jesus. We equip, train and activate His people! (John 1:1, 2 Timothy 3:16).

Statement of Faith
We believe in the triune God of Father, Son and Holy Spirit- each as different facets of the Most High (Deuteronomy 10:17, Revelation 19:16)

We believe Jesus came in the flesh both as God and a man, born of a virgin, lived, died, and three days later raised from the dead overcoming death, hell, and the grave. (1 John 1:2-3, 2 Corinthians 5:15)
We believe in Jesus as Savior, w

ith confession, and heart repentance as the only way to be reconciled to the Father and eternal life. The fall of man, originating with Adam and Eve, perpetuated by personal sin, prevented reconciliation and healing of relationship between God and His creation. Jesus alone offers the cross, the redemption humanity could not attain on its own. (Romans 10:8-10, John 3:16)

We believe the scripture is the living Word of God, inspired by Holy Spirit. We believe the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, including speaking in tongues, are still for this present age.(1 Corinthians 2-14)

I want to say thank you. You have quietly suffered while others have gone on about their lives. You have made choice after choice to lay down your life and sacrificially prefer others. You have held your peace and denied your tongue the freedom to react and say what many would say you had a right to say. You, humble servant of the Lord, have chosen to turn the air you breath into words of encouragement for others - while your own heart endured a loneliness that few will ever understand unless they have walked a similar path. You have become sweeter while others turn bitter. You have not accused God when you felt the weight of sorrows crushing your soul. When the voice of the accuser sent fiery arrows at you while you lay upon your bed, in the form of questions you had no answer for, you groaned quietly and prayed on. Questions like, why did God allow this? Why did He not save you when He saved another. Why did He not heal when He holds the very stars in His hands. Was your faith insufficient? Did you not pray hard enough? Did He not hear the prayers of the saints whom you turned to for support?

Thank you for choosing to know Him in the fellowship of His sufferings - as well as sharing the joy of our salvation. And because you have chosen to know and share ALL of His heart, both the sorrow and the joy, and to learn lessons few are willing to learn, to allow the mallet of His hand to shape you - you have become a fit vessel, able to comfort and strengthen many others in this life in ways that few can. And when you sing - the glory comes.

Yes, thank you for choosing to rest your weary heart in His arms, without demanding that life be “fair”, or that others receive God’s judgment when they offend you or persecute you. Thank you for being one of those who have humbled themselves under His mighty hand, endured loss and injustice and slander and all manner of trial, for His Name's sake. Thank you for choosing to believe that no earthly pain He allows is without eternal purpose, though you would not be able, even if you tried, to explain that purpose.

You have allowed the Master to crush you and chosen to trust Him anyway. You truly have become a fragrant w**e worthy of, and pleasing to, The King. You have, without knowing it, quietly joined the eternal company of heroes of the faith referred to in Hebrews 11.

Thank you, precious one, for allowing Jesus to turn the water of your tears - into the fragrant, matured (and potent) w**e of His Spirit. He truly has saved the best for last.- Brent Smallwood

Personally, I am all about cost/ benefit consideration! Many look at maturing into Christlike character day to day and believe they would miss out on the benefits of this world.

F.OM.O

It is true we do have to shift our boundaries, opinions, agendas, judgments, and hedonism to follow Him truly.

However, this does not take into account that we would also lose anxiety, depression, panic at losing control, codependency, addiction, failed relationships, many physical maladies, and so much more.

Peace is pretty great- His peace, though, only comes from laying down the life you are trying to cling to.

Pick up your cross, friend, and follow Him- His burden is light, and His yoke is easy.

Some days are easy, and others are filled with the knowledge that there is nothing more you can give. …

I have been there. I used to hate how weak I felt; I made myself a victim of everything. If my day was pleasant, I had a good day. ( a victim of my good circumstances)

If my day were terrible, even traumatic, I would be terrible also. You could always know how my life was going by how I responded.

A victim - to the emotional cycles of others, the troubles of this world, someone's kindness, or my personal opinions of others, and so much more.

It was exhausting.

Until I put only the Lord in His rightful place in my life, and then I began to heal as I heard His thoughts over the noise of my life. I heard His thoughts instead of the echoes of loneliness, even in crowded rooms. I began to open up to deep places of pain within myself; I thought I would never be able to access without being swallowed by anger and grief.

Jesus is His name.

He taught me safety. He showed me He is light in the darkness. He taught me about the power of hope. He released me from seeing the world as the place to discover who or how I was and gave me His steadiness.

Jesus is His name.

If you need help with this- reach out. We offer a discipleship-based approach to emotional healing and deliverance because only Jesus can do this.

No cost- He gave everything to pay the way through the cross.

Elul (The King is in the Fields)

The King is in the fields!
Sound the shofar all you people.
Look as He returns from battle.
He returns victorious and triumphant.
The King is in the fields!

The King is in the fields!
See how He gathers His people.
He with them and them with He.
Come close all who are weary.
The King is in the fields!

The King is in the fields!
Hear as He speaks with sensitivity.
The people’s turmoil is brought to ease.
Watch as He restores peace.
The King is in the fields!

The King is in the fields!
Receive forgiveness from one another.
Release the bonds of judgements of your fathers and mothers.
Let go of the bitterness of your brothers and sisters.
The King is in the fields!

The King is in the fields!
Let all the Earth celebrate.
The King is returning to His throne.
His kingdom will reign forever.
The King is in the fields!

“Come away with Me and let Me show you the glory which My Father has given Me.”

Sometimes we go somewhere physically like this beautiful picture below, but the glory Jesus has to share with us is far beyond this world, even though some places in it are beautiful.

His glory far surpasses creation, as it covers the Earth with His heart and every facet of who He is.

Pause- take the time to know Him- and this world will truly become strangely dim.

Join us Tuesday, Aug 18th, online or in person at 2310 N Campbell, Springfield, MO, 6:30-8:30, for Maturing in Christ Teaching Night! Zoom Meeting ID: 392 635 8857

This month’s topic:
Have you ever thought you were burned out? Life just is too much. You feel alone even when in rooms full of people? You try to rest, but you feel futile?

Tiredness is a real issue in our lives caused by real factors, and it is silly to pretend that it isn't true.
However, as believers, we are invited to consider joining together with Him, to allow Him to draw us closer, remind us to lean in, and, instead of living feeling alone, receive His Rest!

Let's grow up into Christ together!
