The Gospel is the “good news”. What is the good news? That Jesus Christ has risen and provided a new covenant so we can come to Him at any time, any place! All we have to do is turn to Him! Be equipped today!

Apr 4 Devotion from Pastor John

““You heard me say, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would be glad that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I. I have told you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe.”

Saturday was a quiet day. Evil thought it won, the followers were frightened and felt defeated and grieving. I would recommend reading the whole chapter of John 14 but Jesus promises that He goes away and prepares a place for us and that He sends us the gift of the Holy Spirit. We know who holds tomorrow! Be equipped today!

Pastor John’s Devotional for April 3rd, Good Friday.

“Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, “He saved others; let him save himself if he is God’s Messiah, the Chosen One.””
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭
Good Friday… Jesus was crucified. He said forgive them as they know not what they do…. They shouted and mocked Him saying He should save Himself as Hs saved others. They painted God in a corner and said He wasn’t the Messiah as He couldn’t save Himself in their understanding or their timeline. Many times we paint God in a corner and expect Him to move in a way we expect from our own understanding. He said tear down this temple and He will rebuild it in 3 days. He was talking about His temple. Be equipped today!
