As a church body may we never neglect the importance of Kingdom breakthrough coming through our little children! To anyone who volunteers once a month to pour into their lives, we say THANK YOU! You are igniting the Holy Spirit inside of the next generation of believers, and what you do MATTERS.

We are so excited to welcome Desi to our team this summer as our Pastoral Intern—Her servant leadership heart is so contagious!

✨ Fun facts about Desi~

⭐️ She has been playing violin at OV for almost 4 years!

⭐️ Her favorite Bible verse is Romans 15:13 because it is the first verse she memorized when deciding to pursue Jesus for real.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭13‬

⭐️ Her dream job is to be an art teacher and get to pour into kids.

⭐️ Her favorite book is The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis—It gave her a hunger to dive into Christian literature and showed her a new perspective of viewing scripture.

⭐️ Taking on this new role, she is most excited about getting closer to all the staff at OV and further seeing how God may use her to give a younger perspective on where He is moving in Oxford!
