WHO IS EXCITED FOR QT-CON?!

While we're certainly excited about ALL of the events, activities and workshops we are especially thrilled that our own
will be presenting at 9 a.m. tomorrow (Wed) in ASC 1082 on "The History of the Hays Code and Its Effect on Q***r Representation in Film."

Then, if you can, make sure to go hang out with our friend The Rev. Julie Blake Fisher from for her workshop at 11 a.m. in ASC 1082 "Finding Joy in Crafting a Sustainable, Affordable, Gender-Affirming Wardrobe"

Then, while not on the official line up, join Wesley at at 7 p.m. for The Thursday Thing. We will be starting a 4 week series learning about the history of LGBTQiA2S+ inclusion in the church as we work through the process to become an official Recinciling Community of the UMC through the

April 13-17 is Miami's Stress Less Week. This week is organized by the Office of Student Wellness and the Su***de Prevention Team. The goal of this week is to gain awareness of way to manage stress, anxiety, ans to improve emotional health to those in our community. On Thursday during the Stress Less Resource fair, Wesley will have a booth for rock painting. Using art as an outlet for negative (and positive) emotions is a great coping mechanism. There are other events throughout the week, and we hope to see you there!
