THIS SATURDAY: Dr. Y Lectureship Series
Jerry Pattengale, University Professor of Indiana Wesleyan University, will lecture on the Museum of the Bible at 8pm on Saturday, April 18th in 152 Shideler Hall.

The Museum of the Bible which opened in 2017 near the national mall has attracted millions of visitors. It has a partnership with the Vatican Museum and with the Israel Antiquities Authority, which will loan some of its Dead Sea Scrolls for a special exhibit. Pattengale was a key advisor to Steve Green, the CEO of Hobby Lobby, who financed the museum.

This is the 20th annual Edwin M. Yamauchi Lecture. It is free and open to the public.

This Sunday marks the beginning of Advent in the liturgical church calendar. The word advent comes from the Latin adventus, meaning "arrival." Our Advent series this year is titled “A Weary World Rejoices.” Over the next four Sundays, we'll explore the promises fulfilled in Jesus' first advent and how they point to their complete realization in His imminent second coming. Join us this Sunday as we discover how Christ's arrival brings rest to our weary lives, comfort to our broken hearts, hope amid suffering, and peace to our anxieties!

We are excited to announce that Oxford Bible Fellowship is partnering with Living Hope Church of Hamilton. We are hoping to have a team of 10-12 go down to serve in North Carolina to help with Hurricane Helene relief work. The team will leave next Friday, Nov 1st - 3rd.
