The other church in the Ailesville Charge is Beverly U.M.C. Anderson is also the Pastor of Oxford First U.M.C.

Happy New Year! Consider the Scripture found in Matthew 9:16-17 16 “No one patches an old garment with unshrunk cloth, because the patch pulls away from the garment and makes the tear worse.
17 “And no one putsfn new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. No, they put new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” (CSB)

As this new season has come, let us not waste the new season on the old. There are things that we must learn to break from so that it does not make the new worse thus destroying everything. I’m praying that we all are empowered to accept our season of new. Whatever mistake, sin, trial, doubt, or anything else that you faced in the past If you have made it into this new season, don’t waste the new one on the old! God continues to provide new tools to overcome! Keep the faith!!

Today we welcomed Reverend Quennel Anderson of Memphis, Tennessee, as our new Pastor! We are excited about this new spiritual journey with Pastor Anderson, First Lady Tarnika and their sweet daughter, Skylar! Rev. Anderson will also serve as Pastor of Beverly UMC and Oxford First UMC.
