1 Peter 4:10-11 tells us to use our gifts to serve others. We had a wonderful group of ladies who came to the library Tuesday to learn to make rag quilts. We had all levels of skills and at first probably looked crazy. The day blended into everyone getting started on a quilt. One made a pillow cover. We were blessed with seeing old friends, making new friends and a very enjoyable day. Thanks for everyone’s patience. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Since so many new faces and names please feel free to comment and your names.

It’s been a very busy week. Fun things are happening in the library. Tuesday Sept 8 starts our rag quilt class. Come and join the fun

UPDATE: Rag Quilt class is now at full capacity. If anyone that has already said they are coming could switch from Tuesday afternoons 2-4:30 to Thursday mornings 9 - noon, we’d appreciate it. We currently have 2 instructors and 20+ students. We love all the interest but we could serve everyone better splitting the class into smaller class sizes.

Who plans on coming to our rag quilt class starting Tuesday Sept. 8? Please comment coming and whether you’ll bring your own fabric or using ours. We want to be sure we have enough tables set up and fabric available. Also let us know if you’ll not make it the first week but plan to join us later. Thanks!

New things happening all the time in the library. Today was a fun filled day. Cutting material for the rag quilt class, learning to crochet, working on a fun top to wear, two are working on quilt as you go. One did some embroidery to personalize quilts, apron made and some just checking us out.

Come join us. Make new friends and complete some projects. We love to see what others are working on

The Library was full of Joy yesterday. We had Bible study in the morning and sewing and crochet/knitting in afternoon. Even if you don’t craft we have lots of lovely conversations. Come check us out

Wednesday bible study of Matthew starts at 10am-11:00am. Its a deep study ising our Bibles. Open to all people.

Tuesday morning Bible study starts at 9:30am with prayer and request then the lesson starts at 10am til 11:15ish. Everyone is invited, no need to be a member. Entrance M in the back of Owensboro Christian Church. Its a small comfortable setting.
