Whether your work happens in an office, classroom, hospital, workshop, kitchen, home, or somewhere in between, your work matters to God.

📖 “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” — Colossians 3:23

Today, may we not only rest from our labor, but remember Who we ultimately work for. ❤️

🚽🏆 THE 2026 LCC YOUTH REDNECK GAMES ARE IN THE BOOKS! 🏆🚽

We came. We competed. We threw taters, toilet seats, plungers, and an unreasonable amount of bologna. 😂

To kick off the 2026-2027 school year, our students put their God-given athletic abilities to the test in some of the finest events ever sanctioned by absolutely no one:

🪠 Plunglin Throw
🥔 Tater Shot Put
🚽 Turlet Seat Toss
🥪 Bologna Hole Throw
🧻 TP Emergency Relay

There was competition. There was questionable technique. There was fellowship. There was bologna on a co****le board. Memories were made.

After leaving it all on the field, the Orange Team claimed the highest honor in LCC Youth athletics: THE GOLDEN PLUNGER. 🪠🏆

And proving once again that the Lord looks at the heart, but we were DEFINITELY looking at the outfits, Kierstin Roberts took home Best Dressed! 👏😂

We’re thankful for a youth group that can grow together, laugh together, invite their friends into the fun, and occasionally compete for bathroom fixtures. 🤍

Congrats to our champions. Everyone else, start trainin’. The road to the Golden Plunger 2027 starts now.

Tuesday Truth! 💯🔒

Sometimes our feelings get LOUD. 😩
Fear says, “What if?”
Anxiety says, “You can’t.”
Discouragement says, “Give up.”

But our feelings don’t get the final word—God’s Word does. 📖❤️

When emotions are overwhelming, we need biblical truth to remind us of what is actually true.

🙏 MONDAY NIGHT PRAYER UPDATE 🙏

Tonight’s in-person and online Monday Night Prayer is postponed.

But that doesn’t mean we stop praying! ❤️

Tonight, we’re challenging you to pray BIG prayers right where you are. Gather your family around the dinner table, pray together with a friend, or take a few moments before bedtime to get alone with God.

Remember Pastor Michael’s challenge: Pray bigger prayers—for your personal life, your family, our community, and our church. 🙏🔥

Don’t let tonight pass without praying. Let’s fill our homes with big prayers and trust God for BIG things!
