We caught so many fish we honestly lost count! If you look closely, every single boy in this picture is holding a fish. That says it all right there.

Proud of these young men for learning, helping each other, and making memories that will stick with them for years to come. Days like this are about a lot more than fishing — they’re about building confidence, character, brotherhood, and teaching boys how to become men.

Koz Fishing Trip 2026 🎣

We weren’t fishing… we were catching! The boys had an absolute blast learning how to bait hooks, cast lines, and reel in fish all day long. Watching the excitement on their faces never gets old.

Trips like this are about more than just fish. They’re about teaching patience, responsibility, respect, and showing young boys what it means to grow into strong men. Time outdoors, good mentors, and moments together are lessons that last a lifetime.

There’s something special about passing down wisdom beside the water — planting seeds of character, faith, and brotherhood along the way. Just like the old stories of fishermen becoming leaders, we’re reminded that the greatest catch isn’t always the fish… it’s the impact made on the next generation.

KOZ is this Saturday, 5/9!

We will be fishing at Powder Creek Shooting Park. They have a pond that they say is full of fish, so we are looking forward to a great day outdoors with the boys.
We'll also have some air rifles and BB guns in case the fish are not biting.

Drop-off: 8:30 AM
Pick-up: 2:00 PM

If your boy has fishing gear, have him bring it. If he does not, no problem, we will have plenty of extra equipment available.

This Saturday, March 14th, is our next KOZ meeting!

The boys will compete in the KOZ Survival Challenge, testing their survival skills.

Teams will go head-to-head in challenges based on skills the boys have been learning at previous KOZ outings, giving them a chance to put those skills to the test.

It’s going to be a fun day of competition, teamwork, and enjoying God's great outdoors.

At KOZ, our mission is simple but powerful: get boys outside, away from screens and distractions, and into the kind of experiences that shape them into strong, capable men. Through outdoor adventures, hands-on skills, and real mentorship, we create an environment where boys learn confidence, responsibility, and brotherhood.

Around the fire, on the trail, and through shared challenges, something powerful happens — boys build meaningful relationships with men who invest in them, guide them, and show them what character, courage, and leadership look like.

This is more than the outdoors.
This is more than a program.

If you don’t… or if you think those are real things… you should probably be at KOZ this Saturday!

We’ll be learning real hands-on basics for:
• Lawn mower and automotive maintenance
• Blade sharpening
• Changing a tire
• Checking air filters
• Adding oil
