[15] Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

[16] Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Praying out God's plan for your life.

Life happens. Time is moving.
Life can be better when doing life with God, than without God.

God wants you to prosper, and be in health, even as your soul (mind, will, emotions) prosper - III John 2

But you've got to do something too!
Seek the Lord. Write down your goals, visions, and dreams.

Do you have a plan for your life? Every plan that God has for you is good. We mess up when we don't consult and seek him first!

Pray over them. Seek the Lord, through the scriptures and trust in Him, that He will lead you and guide you down the right path, because He Loves You and Wants the Best for you! 💖

YES - your words really have the power to change things!

"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:21, NIV)

Jesus said, “The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you” (Matthew 12:37).

Your words can and will direct your life, whether you are speaking LIFE words that are: positive, encouraging, life-giving, helpful, favorable, hopeful...

or if you are speaking DEATH and negative words that are: cynical, defeatist, hopeless, harmful, unfavorable, pessimistic, hateful.

You will have what you say, and your life will follow that path.

Here is what the scriptures say:

-- “Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips” (Psalm 141:3, NIV)

-- “The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing” (Proverbs 12:18, NIV)

-- “The heart of the godly thinks carefully before speaking” (Proverbs 15:28)

-- “Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24, NIV)

-- “The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you” (Matthew 12:37)

-- “It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth” (Matthew 15:11)

Let's work on getting things in our life in order, starting by getting our words in line with the Word of God.

Speak only what you want to see! And then, watch the words of your mouth, change your life circumstances. AMEN

Proverbs 18:21: "death and life are in the power of the tongue" meaning our words can destroy or heal, words have real power, speech is not harmless or neutral; what you say carries real weight and consequences.

Speak Life, not death.
Speak the desired end result, not the mess you see.
Speak encouraging words, even when it's hard to do so.

FASTING AND PRAYER (a powerful combination)

When we corporately gather to fast and pray, we join as one united body of Believers, our hearts on one accord, turned toward God.

Isaiah 58:5-9

Some reasons why and when to fast:

- Fast when you are seeking the direction of the Lord
- Fast when you haven’t received an answer to your prayer
- Fast for deliverance (breaking the yoke of bo***ge)
