[Pastor Tan: Faithful Service, Renewed Commitment]
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Warm greetings to you all! As the cooler weather approaches and the colorful season of autumn arrives, we thank God for His Faithfulness and for the new season of ministry before us.
From September 4-7, many of our brothers and sisters will attend the Mid-America Chinese Christian Summer Retreat (MACCSR) at CrossPoint, Missouri. Please pray for the speakers, leaders, volunteers and participants. May the Lord protect everyone traveling and use this retreat to renew our faith, strengthen our families, and unite the churches throughout our region.
Our church members’ business meeting will be held on Sunday, September 13, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. We encourage all members to attend and participate faithfully. We will also update the coworker list for the coming year. Please pray that God will raise up willing and faithful servants for every ministry.
This month, we are also launching Bible Discovery (BibleD), with new classes offered both in English and Chinese. These classes will help people explore the Bible, understand the Christian faith, and discover the good news of Jesus Christ. Please pray for this ministry and invite friends who may be interested.
As we remember those affected by the devastating flash flood in Nepal, please continue to pray for the victims, their families and the relief workers. You may also contribute to our disaster relief fund.
September is also the month for the Viola Webb Kansas-Nebraska Missions Offering. Our churchwide goal is $6,000. These gifts should be given above and beyond our regular tithes and offerings. May we give generously to support missions and gospel work in our region.
As we conclude another fiscal year, we sincerely thank all our coworkers and deacons for their faithful and diligent service. We also warmly welcome the new group of coworkers and deacons as they begin serving in the coming year.
May all glory be given to our Lord and God, Jesus Christ!

亲爱的弟兄姐妹：
主內平安！随着天气渐渐转凉、缤纷多彩的秋季即将来临，我们为着神过去的信实献上感思，也满怀期待地迎接新一季的教会生活与事奉。
9月4日至7日，许多弟兄姐妹将前往密苏里州的营地，参加美中夏令营。请为讲员、领袖、义工和所有参加者祷告，求主保守大家往返平安，并借着这次退修会更新我们的信心、坚固我们的家庭，也促进美中地区众教会之间的合一。
本教会将于9月13日（主日）下午1:30至3:30举行会员大会，盼望所有会员预留时间，踊跃出席并忠心参与教会事务。我们也将更新下一年度的同工名单，请大家祷告，求神兴起更多甘心乐意、忠心殷事的弟兄姐妹。
这个月，我们也将正式启动“圣经探索”，并分别开设中文班和英文班，帮助大家认识爱经、明白基督信仰，并探索耶稣基督的福音。请为这项新事工祷告，也邀请有兴趣的亲友参加。
我们也特别记念尼泊尔水灾的灾民、受影响的家庭和参与救援的工作人员。除了祷告以外，弟兄姐妹也可以奉献支持教会的賑灾基金。
九月也是我们收取“培州向布拉斯加州宣教奉献”的月係，教会今年的目标是六千美元。这项奉献应当是在日常十一奉献之外的额外奉献。愿我们甘心慷慨地摆上，支持本地区的宣教与福音工作。
隨着同工与枕书的本奉年底即将结束，我们衷心感谢每一位同工和执事过去一年的忠心与殷勤照事。同时，我们也欢迎新一届的同工和执事，在新年度中承担照事的责佳。
愿一切荣耀都归给我们的主、我们的神耶稣基督！
