Some of the Salem men had a great time enjoying fellowship and a gorgeous sunset last Thursday.

Fellowship of the Stein will not meet in July and August. They typically meet on the third Thursday of every month at a variety of breweries, restaurants, and homes. All men are welcome to attend.

Join us this Sunday! We worship at Atonement Lutheran Church (9948 Metcalf Ave., Overland Park). Summer hours for Sunday worship services are traditional worship hosted by Atonement at 9:30 a.m. and contemporary worship hosted by Salem at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome to attend either service, and we have coffee fellowship together between services in the narthex right outside the sanctuary.

We will also have Floats for Father’s Day this Sunday between worship services. Come to the cafe from 10:30-11:00 a.m. to choose your favorite soda flavor with vanilla ice cream for a sweet treat to celebrate the father figures in our lives. There’s no need to be a dad. Everyone loves ice cream!

On June 17, we remember the Emanuel Nine, martyrs of the faith who were murdered during Bible study at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015.
