June 18 …Thursday …Food Pantry at First Presbyterian Church. 228 W. 4th Street, Ottumwa, IA, from 3 pm until 5:30 pm or for the first 300 clients. This is the Third Thursday of the month. Enter the parking lot from 4th Street, Parking lot will open at 2:00 pm Bring photo ID with you. A box of food will be provided for each household that qualifies within income guidelines established by the Department of Health and Human Services. We ask for your name, number in household and ages of household members. Sign in will be completed from the parking lot as usual. New clients will register in the church. ALL clients must bring an ID.

Discover hope and healing from loss with a GriefShare group. Find strength, new beginnings, caring connections, and guidance for healing. This is an in-person group. Please use the Red Door off Third Street. Begins at 2 pm on Monday, May 11, 2026. Meetings will last until 3:30 pm.

GriefShare is a biblical-based grief recovery group designed to encourage those who have experienced loss and begin the process of healing has provided support and education to grieving persons since 2021. When this group is in session, they meet on Mondays from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. This study is open to anyone who has experienced the loss of a loved one … parent, spouse, child, or friend. Each group session includes a video featuring experts in the field of grief, discussion, and a workbook to use during the week and for taking notes in. If you have questions or wish to register for the next session, please contact the office (641.684.5465) or go to www.griefshare.org. This ministry will begin on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 2 pm in the Lounge. Please use the Red Door off Third St.
