We had to make the difficult decision to not open as part of guidelines for not expressing religion we talked with everyone we know and tried to make it happen but unfortunately we were unsuccessful to do it so we are currently having talk with local churches to see if we can get together a Celebrate Recovery in Ottumwa if you're church is interested please contact Ethan Smith for more information or with any questions for now!

Hello Followers, We are sorry to announce that we will not be proceeding with the project, as I am no longer employed by the Company of OLS. This decision was a difficult one, impacting not only us but also the volunteers who generously offered their assistance. We assessed the project's operational viability and funding requirements, and unfortunately, we were unable to secure the necessary resources. Despite our endeavors to engage with the community and explore financing options, we fell short. We are grateful for the opportunity to have explored this project and extend our appreciation to our volunteers and supporters for their unwavering support.

After much discussion and debate we have decided that we are not moving forward to open a CR In Ottumwa at this time it may or may not change in the future but we are not going to deactivate the page until we know for sure on what we are planning on doing. As much as I wanted to I have made the decision to not move forward as it’s in our best interest and community interest not to open CRCP As we hate doing this but financially we can’t do anything with this without the community support please DON’T CONTACT US UNLESS YOU ARE INTERESTED IN HELPING We are currently not answering any questions during this time period and we hope to provide a positive post in the next few months I know it’s probably not the answer you want but we tried our best from Zack and I thank you for your continued support during this period!

Let’s Welcome Zackary “Ethan” to the Celebrate Recovery Ministry Family his love for the ministry started in 2023 after volunteering h became a member of CR and is currently working on getting his own Celebrate Recovery started after he finishes Step Study a graduate of Class of 2023 his passion for helping others is the other reason why he wanted to start his own let’s give a huge welcome to Ethan!!

Wonderful night at our sister church CR program! Zackary prayed over the cards that people had put in the box, and his prayer was truly powerful, touching everyone present. Dan delivered an inspiring message focused on grace and truth, encouraging us all to reflect on these virtues. Mandy, Troy, and Tom distributed chips during the Chip Ceremony, with one individual proudly receiving his 7-month Chip, marking a significant milestone. The night was filled with powerful stories shared during our small groups, strengthening our community bonds. We meet every Monday night at 6PM, with dinner served at 5:15PM We hope to see you there and join us in this meaningful fellowship!
