Last weekend, the Confirmation class from St. Mary Magdalen Confirmation Program had the blessing of taking a field trip to Conception Abbey and the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
During our visit, students had the opportunity to participate in Mass and the daily prayers with the monks of Conception Abbey. At lunch, we met Brother John, who generously shared his faith journey and vocation story with us.
While touring the convent, we also met Sister Pat, who spoke about the history of the sisters and the many ways they serve others through their ministry. Our group was especially blessed to spend time in the Adoration Chapel and visit the Relic Chapel, both of which offered moments of prayer, reflection, and peace.
This journey was a beautiful way to conclude our year together, as we listened to inspiring stories of faith and built new friendships along the way. What a true blessing it was for all of us!
