On July 22, 2025, a crew including Randy Bombei, Kevin Hammes, Russell Hammes, Steve Heisdorffer, Alan Weber, and Tim Woltering installed a new cross atop the steeple at Sts. Peter and Paul Church at Clear Creek.

With the help of a crane and an extra extension piece, they were able to reach the top—about 115 feet up! Kevin Hammes went up in the bucket with one of the crane operators and said there was a nice breeze up there.

They also cleaned out the old grout by the west basement door and got a start on the first round of new grout.

A Christmas Eve Service will take place again this year at the Sts. Peter and Paul Church at Clear Creek. It will begin at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 24. The address is 30832 242nd Street, Harper, Iowa 52231.

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 6:00 p.m., there will be a regular meeting of the Clear Creek Heritage Association. On the agenda for discussion is the June breakfast.
