Crossroads Connection Omaha

Crossroads Connection Omaha Crossroads is a prison ministry that serves those who are incarcerated. We help individuals and their families transition back into society.

Crossroads Connection is a community of churches in the Omaha Metropolitan area who have joined together to assist prison inmates in their transition back to life outside of prison. We work to bridge the gap in the current penal system by helping former inmates find their way back into society through the caring support of Christ's followers.

Sunday, July 19th we met at Underwood Hills Presbyterian Church for our worship service. Rev. Dr. Karen Moritz gave us a great sermon titled "Never Separated" and we had lovely piano music and hymns from Jim Wiehe. One of their volunteers baked us homemade communion bread - what a treat! Anne Carroll was honored for her 20 years of service to Crossroads Connection - what a generous amount of time and talent she has given to CC over the years. Enjoy your retirement Anne! We had a picnic dinner with Subway sandwiches, chips and dip, watermelon, and homemade desserts from the UHPC kitchen ladies. Thank you so much to all of the UHPC volunteers for your time and hospitality! A special thank you to the Crossroads Connection drivers and sponsors who help make each Sunday happen.

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who spent their time with us Sunday evening serving or visiting during fellowship hour. A special thank you to the drivers and sponsors from Crossroads Connection who help make these services possible.

We had a great holiday weekend worship service at First Presbyterian Church of Omaha on July 5th! David led our worship service with help from youth from his church, his nephew, and the pastor and youth from Hope Presbyterian Church. The youth also provided a good part of the music for us! David gave a great message called "Yay, God, Yay!" while Pastor Geiler served us communion. We had a wonderful meal and fellowship time afterward. Thank you so much to all the volunteers from both churches who helped make the service happen or cooked, served, or cleaned up the meal. We can't do this without you! A special thanks to our drivers and sponsors from Crossroads Connection.
