SUNDAY FUNDAY AT HERITAGE!🌳

The room was full, worship was powerful, and we were reminded that when we honestly acknowledge our weaknesses, we make room for God’s strength to operate.

We’re so grateful for our Heritage family and for all God continues to do in our church as we keep Him at the center.

SUNDAY FUNDAY is THIS SUNDAY at Heritage!

This is one of the best Sundays to invite a friend, family member, or coworker and bring them with you! Free pancakes start at 9, followed by a powerful, Holy Spirit-filled service at 10am.

And we love that our kids get to be part of worship too! Kids will worship together with their families in the main service, then head to their classes after worship for a service just for them.

If you’ve been looking for a church to call home, get to Heritage this Sunday. We’d love to have you!

Sometimes the thing you think is beneath you is the very thing God is using to prepare you. Don’t despise the assignment just because it doesn’t look like the calling yet.

The enemy will try to make you feel guilty because you’re not taking big enough steps for God. But so much of what God builds in our lives comes through small, consistent, diligent steps of obedience over time.

And Pastor Brad is probably one of the best people to speak about consistency. When we honored him for Pastor Appreciation, his brother Chad said that one of Pastor’s greatest qualities is simply that he’s consistent. And if you’ve been around Heritage for any length of time, you’ve seen that.

Consistency isn’t flashy. It doesn’t always feel spiritual or significant. It’s simply showing up again and again, doing what God has put in front of you even when it feels small.

It’s staying planted when something else looks newer or more exciting. It’s resisting the urge to constantly chase the next thing and learning to be faithful where God has placed you.

You don’t need one giant step of faith that leaves you exhausted trying to maintain it. You need the discipline to keep taking the next faithful step. So don’t despise small beginnings. Big moments may get you noticed, but consistency is what builds a life of faithfulness.

One of the sweetest parts of church is meeting people you may have never crossed paths with otherwise.

And somehow, Heritage is where so many of our paths crossed.

Strangers became friends. Friends became family. And now it’s hard to imagine life without them. What a gift it is to do life together!

No music. No production. No spotlight. Just a church body lifting their voices to Jesus.

Our Worship Pastor, Jess, turned away from the congregation and simply led us in, “I exalt Thee.” Simple lyrics. Back to our roots. Nothing to perform and nothing to prove—just worship.

And the presence of God filled the room.

Sometimes the most powerful moments are the simplest ones, when everything else gets stripped away and Jesus becomes the only focus.

What an anointed and unforgettable moment at Heritage.

For the ones who are still awake tonight…

Maybe your mind won’t shut off. Maybe you’re carrying something heavy, replaying a conversation, worrying about tomorrow, or trying to figure out something that God hasn’t given you the answer to yet.

You don’t have to solve it tonight.

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”
-Psalm 4:8

Give it to Jesus. Tomorrow has enough grace waiting for you when you get there. Tonight, rest.
