Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Old Tappan, NJ We are a community of faith in Jesus, who loves us and empowers us to share his love with others! As Christians we are both saints and sinners.

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church is located at 106 Orangeburg Road,Old Tappan, New Jersey. We worship on Sundays at 10:15am

We believe that Jesus lived, died and rose again for our sins. Saints living in the forgiveness of God and yet sinners who are in constant need of this forgiveness. We meet on Sundays at 10:15am to worship and praise God and to receive guidance and strength for our daily livi

ng. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly. Sunday school is offered for children during worship service. We are handicapped accessible (elevator is located at the back entrance). We would love for you to join us! We are affiliated with the New Jersey Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.

Before it was a holiday weekend, Memorial Day was a sacred act of remembrance.

In the years after the Civil War, people gathered in cemeteries to decorate the graves of soldiers with flowers and prayers. The observance became known as “Decoration Day,” eventually growing into what we now call Memorial Day.

Today we remember not only history, but people:
Beloved children of God whose lives were cut short by war.

We pray for peace in our world and comfort for all who grieve.
