Knights of Columbus, Immaculate Conception Council 9021

Regular Business Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month. Our Knights Council has directly served the North Jersey Catholic Parishes in Old Tappan, Haworth, Norwood, River Vale, and Northvale since 1985 and has 142 members. Over the last 10 years our council’s successful events have helped raise about $300,000 for worthy charitable causes. These efforts continue during 2016-2017

with support to families impacted by the economy through the Knights ‘Food for Families’ program, donations to our local parishes, support for those who are affected by Alzheimer’s Disease, and religious events for our disabled veterans in Paramus. Our annual ‘Baby Bottle Drive’ provides support for women’s pregnancy crisis centers. The Knights of Columbus is a 132 year old worldwide Catholic fraternal and service organization with over 2 million members. During 2016 the Knights donated over $170 million dollars to charity and contributed over 70 million service hours. Some of the key charitable projects of the Knights in 2016 included disaster relief for flood victims in Louisiana, support for the Special Olympics, significant efforts on behalf of Christians impacted by the conflict in the Middle East, participation with Habitat for Humanity, and our Global Wheelchair Mission.
