Selah Spiritual Life Center In the Psalms, you can find a notation in italics interspersed between the stanzas — Selah, a notation that tells worshippers it is time to breathe.

We are excited that Selah Spiritual Life Center will do that same thing for the people in our community.

Caregivers Group offered by Selah Spiritual Life Center
Companionship for the Journey of Caring
Tuesday, April 28th at 6:30
15550 S. Blackbob Rd. Olathe
If you are walking the path of caregiving—whether for a parent, partner, child, or friend—you are not alone. The Caregivers Group at Selah offers a gentle, grace-filled space to connect with others who understand the unique challenges and responsibilities of caring for a loved one.
We gather to share stories, offer mutual support, and rest in the presence of compassion. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, and often we simply breathe together.
This is a space to be supported, to be seen, and to be reminded that your care matters.
Whether you’re exhausted or just in need of someone who “gets it,” this group is here to walk with you.
Come. Rest. Be heard.
You don’t have to carry this alone.

How do we live compassionately in a time of violence and despair? What can we do with our private disappointments and the anger we feel in such an unjust world? In his most personal book yet, Richard Rohr turns to the writings of the Jewish prophets, revealing how some of the lesser-read books of the Bible offer us a crucial path forward today.

Richard will present how the prophets dealt with challenges in their world through a process that involves anger, sadness, then hope and grace which leads to a Halleluiah. We can take these ideas and apply them now to how we respond to all that is going on in our world today.

Come join us this Thursday at 6:30 for the introduction to “The Tears of Things” by Richard Rohr.

Each week we will cover a chapter and include discussion from the study guide and the reading.
