We are super excited to announce Monday, August 31st, 9:00 am, we will open our doors to the public at 16175 W 135th Street. We will ONLY be taking food donations until further notice. Please watch the updates, as they will let you know when we will be accepting all donations again. There have been a large number of people who have reached out to see what volunteer opportunities we have. Tuesday, September 1st at 5:30 – 6:30 pm (we are NOT open to the public during this time), we will have a volunteer opportunity meeting for anyone who is interested in finding out more. We are currently working on a “Wish List” of items we need and will update this post as soon as we have it. There is still construction at the Brougham and 135th Street intersection, so we are asking all of our clients to please leave a few at a time and not block the intersection. If you are volunteering with us as a group, we ask that you park across the street at Kohl's in the slots closest to Brougham and Santa Fe and either walk over or carpool across. They said construction should be completed by October. We want to thank all our family, friends, volunteers, donors, sponsors, and community for making this happen! THANK YOU!

Just a reminder— preschool is back in session. The church parking lot is very busy 8:30 to 9:00 every week day. You might want to plan your visits to the church accordingly.

We’re Looking for Our Next Center of Grace Volunteers! 💙

At Center of Grace, we believe that community is built through relationships — and our volunteers are a huge part of making that happen!

There are so many ways to get involved, whether you have an hour a week, a few hours a month, or simply want to help when your schedule allows. Volunteers can help with things like:

✨ Welcoming and greeting our neighbors
📞 Answering phones and helping in the office
👕 Helping in our Clothing Closet & Boutique
🥫 Assisting in the Food Pantry
🎒 Supporting special events and community programs
🤝 Participating in group volunteer opportunities
📚 Evening Kid's Academy Teaching Assistant — M-F
💻 Sharing your professional skills and talents
🌎 Providing culturally and linguistically inclusive support — including Spanish, French, Berber, Dari, ASL, and more!

You don’t have to have a special skill or a lot of time. You just need a willingness to show up, listen, and be part of a community where everyone is treated with dignity and hospitality.
