Wellspring Life Church As a church, we aspire to be passionate worshippers of God, and to strive to advance the Kingdom. This is the first and greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-39)

The heart values and practices of Wellspring Life Church include an emphasis on worship, the Bible taught as God's Word and our standard, small groups, and effective equipping of the saints to do the ministry of Christ: a ministry of sharing the good news, bringing healing to the sick and broken, caring for the poor and needy, and setting the captives free. We have a desire to truly know God and t

o serve Him with all of our hearts. We believe that our relationship with God must be relevant, practical and powerful if it is going to affect our lives and the lives of others. In its most basic form, a church is a group of people who gather together to learn about God and to share His love with others. That's what Jesus boiled it down to when he was asked what were the most important things to do in life: " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."

26/06/17 Is Your Soul Prospering?
In order to have a prospering soul we must walk in the Light and have no fellowship with darkness.
If we claim to have fellowship with the LORD and yet walk in darkness, we lie and do not act in truth (1 John 1:6).
“5 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. 8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” - 1 John 1:5-10
Choose to walk in the Spirit, led by Truth, and get rid of every hint of evil around you (Holy Spirit will reveal things that you need to get rid of in your life if you just ask). M&C

26/06/16 Is Your Soul Prospering?
Part of having a prospering soul is to make sure you are “feeding” your soul the right things. The truth cannot lie. Seems silly to say it that way but truths and lies are opposites. God can only tell the truth and the devil can only lie and deceive. It’s funny but deception is so tricky because deceived people don’t know they’re deceived. Deception is more automatic than the Word of God is in the world. Get into the Word. Know it! Knowing the truth is the only defense you have against deception and lies. John 8:31-32 says, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Knowing the truth and walking in it equals freedom from deception. M&C

26/06/15 Is Your Soul Prospering?
You are a three part being. According to 1 Thessalonians 5:23 you are spirit, soul, and body. Your spirit is where the Holy Spirit lives and it’s the part of you that lives forever. Your soul is your mind, will, and emotions. Your body is the part of you that is physically seen by everyone. You are in charge of all three parts. Your soul tries to control you. A lot of times there’s a war going on within us as our soul (mind, will, and emotions) tries to control our actions and choices. A shift needs to happen in our souls (mind) in order to get on board with our born again spirit. In today’s world, deception is more automatic than the Word of God. 3 John 1:3-4 says, “For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” Align your thinking with your spirit and remember: God wants His kids to walk in truth!!! M&C

25/06/13 – Choosing Grace in Our Relationships
Dear Lord,
Thank You for the people You have placed in our lives.
Relationships bring both joy and challenge, and we confess that patience and understanding do not always come easily.
Help us to speak words that heal rather than wound.
Give us the wisdom to listen before responding.
Teach us to extend grace as freely as You have extended grace to us.
Where there is tension, bring peace.
Where there is misunderstanding, bring clarity.
Where there is hurt, bring healing.
May our lives reflect the love and compassion of Christ in every interaction.
“Let all that you do be done in love.”
(1 Corinthians 16:14)
