Wellspring Life Church As a church, we aspire to be passionate worshippers of God, and to strive to advance the Kingdom. This is the first and greatest commandment. (Matthew 22:37-39)

The heart values and practices of Wellspring Life Church include an emphasis on worship, the Bible taught as God's Word and our standard, small groups, and effective equipping of the saints to do the ministry of Christ: a ministry of sharing the good news, bringing healing to the sick and broken, caring for the poor and needy, and setting the captives free. We have a desire to truly know God and to serve Him with all of our hearts. We believe that our relationship with God must be relevant, practical and powerful if it is going to affect our lives and the lives of others. In its most basic form, a church is a group of people who gather together to learn about God and to share His love with others. That's what Jesus boiled it down to when he was asked what were the most important things to do in life: " Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself."

This is for the Pastor’s wife who may feel just a little weary. Or maybe a lot.

I see you.

I know the load you carry.

It’s a heavy one because it’s a Holy one.

The pressure you feel never eases.

I see you continually wiping the windows of the glass house your children live within.

I see your tears in the nursery bathroom following the hard conversations.

I see you on your knees, asking God for wisdom.

I see you continually processing every situation.

Analyzing words spoken.

I see you forgiving those who have hurt you without an apology ever offered.

I see you loving those who left you.

I see you not serving behind your husband but beside him.

Because somewhere along this journey, you’ve realized this isn’t just a ministry.

This is your calling.

Your church isn’t just a church.

It’s your home.

And your congregation isn’t just people.

They’re your family.

I’ll see you today as you walk into the sanctuary with the grace you need to fulfill the work God has called you to do.

He hasn’t called you into perfection.

He’s called you to grab a hammer, expand the Kingdom on His behalf, and love people hard.
