Michal Jones, Director of Children & Youth Ministry, will preach “Just Breathe: Receiving the Spirit,” with scripture readings from Genesis 2:7 and 2 Corinthians 3:17–18. Pastor Melanie is away at Annual Church Conference and will return next Sunday, June 7.

Summer Worship at UUMC begins this Sunday, May 24, 10:00 a.m.!

During the summer worship season, we will have one service only at 10:00 a.m. each Sunday through Labor Day Weekend, September 6. Coffee will be available before and after worship.

This Sunday, we will celebrate Pentecost Sunday as Pastor Melanie preaches “Making Ministry Irreplaceable in a World of Artificial Everything,” with scripture from Acts 2:1-4, 6-8, 12-21.

Pastor Melanie and Matt Davenport will explore anger and faith, reflecting on James 1:19–20, Ephesians 4:26–27, and Proverbs 14:29.

Our youth will lead us in a meaningful and creative time of worship, designed under the direction of Michal Jones, Director of Children & Youth Ministry.

They will present “Hint! The Murder of Abel,” a mystery-inspired skit written and directed by Matthew Constan, based on Genesis 4:1–16.

We will also celebrate Holy Communion, and the Children’s Choir will share in the music.

Join us this Sunday, April 19 at 11 a.m. for a special Music Sunday at University United Methodist Church! (1 service only)

Our Chancel Choir and REACH Band will present "A Little Jazz Mass" by Bob Chilcott—a vibrant and meaningful setting of the traditional Mass that blends prayer with the rhythms and harmonies of jazz. The Children’s Choir will also share in the music this Sunday, making this a joyful and uplifting morning for all.

We’ll also have finals goodie bags available for college students in the Gathering Space—students are welcome to take one for themselves and a friend or roommate (while they last).
