🍽 Thursday, 10/27- Campus Dinner: Meet us in Brody Dining Hall at 7:00pm for dinner on campus!

📖 Thursday, 10/27 - MEN's and WOMEN's Bible Study: Join us at 8pm as we learn more about God's word together! Men will be meeting over in the Brody Hall Grotto underneath the stairs to the dining hall, and the NEW Women's Bible Study will be meeting in the STEM Building on the 1st Floor!

🎉🎮 Friday, 10/28 - FALL PARTY: For this week's Friday night social, join us starting at 6pm-10pm for some fun Fall festivities with Trivia Murder Party and other Jackbox Games, tsweet treats, and more over at 4920 Hagadorn Rd.

🤝🍫 Friday, 10/28 - HALLOWEEN REFRESH: Join His House from 10pm-midnight as we go out across campus handing out water, snacks, and other goodies as we serve our community by helping students stay safe throughout Halloween weekend. DM us for more info!

** Winter Retreat 2022 **
Soo… What happened in those 2 days?

-Singing praises together at loud as we can
-Cups & cups & cups of hot chocolate
-Learning about being dressed and ready for Christ’s return and what that practically looks like in our lives
-Broomball in the middle of the night
-Many laughs, late nights, challenging questions, and friendships growing deeper
-Lives surrendered to God

Praise God for our His House family and the ways he works in all of our lives!

What’s going on this semester!?
We are excited about more small groups and time together!! Here’s a few of the things to expect (and more to come).
**Sunday Night His House: Eat food together and hang, and then we will have a time of worship, prayer, and learning more about what the Bible says together.
**Tuesday Prayer: We are excited to make prayer more of a priority as we seek wisdom and a deeper relationship with God. The plan is to meet at the Union to ask people there if we can pray for them, and have a time of prayer together.
**Mid-week Small Groups: Get to know people and God more intimately while reading through a chapter in Matthew together and talking through questions together
**Friday Fellowship: Come eat, talk, ask questions, read and pray… who knows… but we are excited to do it together!

How do we keep the “Christmas Joy” after December 25th?… We need to remember where our joy comes from in the first place. It’s not from Christmas presents or desserts or weeks without homework… but joy comes from something much bigger.
“‘You have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.’” (Acts 2:28)
God’s presence is with us! Through our Lord coming to earth, we have joy that will never leave. Not today. Not tomorrow when family leaves and the Christmas tree comes down. Not any time this year. Because God is with us and He promises to never leave!
