Success looks attractive from a distance.

People see the results and assume they want the same life.

What they do not see are the sacrifices hidden behind it.

The missed weekends.

The stress.

The risk.

The years of uncertainty.

Everyone wants the reward when it is finally visible.

Very few people want the pressure that came before it.

That is why success is never as crowded as it appears.

Most people admire the destination but quit when they meet the road required to get there.

PENTECOST SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER, 24th May 2026

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the gift of this blessed day and for the peace You lovingly place within our hearts.

In moments when fear surrounds us and our hearts feel troubled, You come into our midst just as You came to Your disciples and gently say, “Peace be with you.”

Thank You for never abandoning us and for reminding us that Your presence is stronger than every fear and uncertainty.

Lord Jesus, breathe Your Holy Spirit upon us anew this Pentecost day. Fill our hearts with courage, faith, and joy so that we may become faithful witnesses of Your love in the world.

Help us to carry Your peace to those who are hurting, discouraged, or lost. Teach us to forgive as You forgive and to walk each day in humility and obedience to Your will.

May the fire of the Holy Spirit renew our hearts and guide us always in truth, love, and holiness.

Remain with us always, Lord.

Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
