Framing Continues at the Indianapolis Indiana Temple

A large opening on the north side of the Indianapolis Indiana Temple has been filled in with framing for four long windows. Scaffolding surrounds other sides of the temple as insulating materials are applied, followed by attachment of the exterior stone to steel channels.
A Morning of Roof Making at the Provo City Center Temple

Beginning shortly after midnight on Wednesday, construction workers at the Provo City Center Temple began pouring the vast concrete roof of the temple annex [ watch video ]. Work on the roof of the temple proper proceeded as well with the installation of support beams.

Preparing the Concepción Chile Temple Site

Activity has sprung up at the Concepción Chile Temple site as members help prepare the land for construction. No date has been announced for the groundbreaking, but it is expected to occur in the coming months. The temple was announced four years ago in General Conference.

Concrete Poured on East Side of Ogden Utah Temple

On the east side of the Ogden Utah Temple, concrete has been poured for the walkways, planters, and water feature that will greet patrons as they walk toward the main entrance. Lamp posts are installed and fence posts are covered in a black mastic, awaiting the attachment of granite.
Last Section of Concrete Poured for Phoenix Temple Driveway

Construction workers at the Phoenix Arizona Temple have poured the final section of concrete for the driveway between the temple and the adjoining meetinghouse. The temple is expected to be completed next year, sometime after the dedication of the nearby Gilbert temple.
Excavation Underway at Sapporo Japan Temple Site

With building permits secured, major excavation efforts are now underway at the Sapporo Japan Temple site. The temple will rise near Rainbow Bridge—a beautiful pedestrian bridge with a soaring arch and colorful circles along the railings.
More Stone Attached to Exterior of Indianapolis Indiana Temple

Beautiful stone continues to be attached to steel channels lining the Indianapolis Temple. Inside, concrete has been poured for the baptismal font. "Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?" (1 Cor. 15:29).
Ground Staked for Provo City Center Temple Pavilion

Work has begun on a beautiful Victorian pavilion at the Provo City Center Temple, including utilities and excavation for an elevator. Newly sealed couples will walk from the temple through an underground hallway, ascend the elevator, and be received by waiting family and friends.

Following months of underground work to create the large parking structure and basement level for the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, exterior walls for the main level are now rising into view as concrete is poured into forms.
Site Clearing Progress for Hartford Connecticut Temple

Laborers have been hard at work at the Hartford Connecticut Temple site, preparing the ground for grading and excavation. The efforts have included razing residences and an office building and clearing vegetation. The footprint of the temple is marked by white stakes.
Central Tower Framework Rises over Provo City Center Temple

The above-ground view of the former Provo Tabernacle has dramatically changed for the first time since the fire with the addition of framework for the central tower of the future Provo City Center Temple. The original tabernacle featured a central tower that was later removed for safety reasons.
Trees Arrive for Planting at Payson Utah Temple

A stand of evergreens have been delivered to the Payson Utah Temple site, ready for planting. Trees will be featured throughout the grounds including every row of parking. A wide variety will be planted in the gardens near the temple proper.
Construction Approval Upheld for Meridian Idaho Temple

At the end of a four-hour public hearing last night, construction approval for the Meridian Idaho Temple was upheld by the Ada County commissioners in a 2-0 vote. A resident had filed an appeal on the grounds that the project would create an adverse impact on the enjoyment of her property.
Lighting Test for Phoenix Arizona Temple Spire

Last night at the Phoenix Arizona Temple, subcontractors performed a lighting test of the central tower. The goal of the system is to softly accent architectural features while keeping light spillage to a minimum in consideration of neighbors.

A newly submitted photograph of the Tijuana México Temple gives a unique perspective on the construction progress. The exterior walls have been poured, which will be faced in a white stone and topped with a mission-style steeple.
Building Central Tower for Provo City Center Temple

Work has begun on assembling the new central tower for the Provo City Center Temple, which will sit atop the roof. Laborers hope to have the roof in place before winter, which will include installation of the four cupolas over the corner towers.
