Tips on reaching Mormons for Christ
Tip #1 If Mormon missionaries come to your home, ask them to reschedule a time to return to your home. Often times if these "foot soldiers" for the Mormon church come to your home unannounced, you may very well be caught off guard and not prepared to have a meaningful conversation. Invite them for a meal or dessert remembering they are far from home, missing their families and are young adults trying to carry out what they think will honor their families, and even God himself- Romans 10:1-4
"Bretheren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel (or in my case the Mormons) is, that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth."
Tip #2 Remember the Mormon missionaries are the primary means the Mormon church gains their converts...if you don't answer the door, they are going to go to every one of your neighbors and seek to win them over with a message that sadly conveys what has been termed,
"Twistianity". It is a very subtle masquerade of what looks and smells like true Christianity on the surface.
Tip #3 Call me at (801) 645-7433 as I would be happy to provide some coaching and even join you in your conversation with the missionaries. In a world of video screens and the means to easily be somewhere in real time...I would be happy to join you via a Skype video call, facetime, or the like.
It does not have to be for your entire appointment just the first 15-20 min.
It would be a privilege to assist you in carrying out a burden that has been on my heart for some time. Let me know if I can help!
