It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to a very special part of our Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene family, Maggie Dixon. ❤️

So many of us remember answering the phone and hearing Maggie’s sweet, familiar voice say, “Hello, this is Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene,” as she shared a prayer request, church announcement, or simply checked in.

That sweet voice may be silent here on earth, but today we find comfort knowing Maggie is rejoicing in her heavenly home. 🕊️

Until we hear that sweet voice again, we will cherish the memories she left with all of us.

Please keep Maggie’s family and our church family in your prayers. 🙏❤️

Tomorrow, as we remember Maggie Dixon and support her family, please remember:

🙏 Morning Worship — 9:30 AM
There will be NO 10:30 AM service tomorrow.

Visitation will be 12–2 PM, with the funeral at 2 PM in the sanctuary.

The All-Church Picnic has been moved to next Sunday.

Oak Hill Church of Nazarene Morning Worship will be at 9:30 AM this Sunday. There will be no 10:30 AM service.

Also, our All-Church Picnic has been postponed until next Sunday, September 20, which is also Back to Church Sunday! 🙌

🍞 In the Palm of My Hand… ✝️

This morning during Communion, I looked down at the bread and juice resting in my hand and was reminded of just how great His love is.

His body broken. His blood poured out. His life given—for you and me. ❤️

Sometimes the smallest things can remind us of the greatest sacrifice.
