A new Adult Christian Education series will begin on Monday, June 22nd at 4:30 pm in our Parish Hall. Together we will be reading What Is the Bible? by Rob Bell.
Many of us have spent a lifetime reading and hearing Scripture, yet still find ourselves wondering: What exactly is the Bible? How was it written? How should we understand difficult passages? What do we do when ancient texts raise modern questions?
In this engaging and thought-provoking book, Rob Bell invites readers to explore the Bible not as a collection of rules or answers, but as a living library of stories, poetry, wisdom, and faith that continues to speak to us today. Whether you have studied Scripture for decades or are just beginning to ask deeper questions, this book offers fresh perspectives that can enrich your faith and deepen your understanding.
No prior biblical knowledge is required, and all questions are welcome. This class is designed to be a place of curiosity, conversation, and learning together as we seek a deeper appreciation for the Bible and its place in our lives.
Books are available through Amazon and in a variety of digital formats. If obtaining a copy is a hardship, please contact the church office. We want everyone who wishes to participate to be able to join us, and books can be provided for those who need assistance.
