In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I reflect back on my last three years of youth ministry at ODPC (and especially the last 6 months) and am so thankful for all the blessings God has provided ACCESS Youth Ministry. While all the "fun" retreats have been cancelled, I am blessed to work with youth and adults who have committed to this year and keeping youth ministry alive and well; from our 10 Commandments study, starting our college ministry group; continuing to serve alongside local ministries; keeping annual traditions alive; and growing our youth in their talents and faith. I might sound like a broken record but while we might not ever be the "fanciest, hippest, coolest" youth program around, we truly excel in what it means to have a "heart for Christ and for others" Take a look at all the exciting things ACCESS has been involved in these last few months.
