10 Days of Prayer: Pursue

The call of 10 Days 2026 is a call to pursue, to run after the heart of God with undivided devotion. In a world that pulls us in countless directions, this is a time to reorient our hearts around one pursuit: My best for His glory.

Over these ten days as we worship, repent, and pray, we seek to yield everything—our ambitions, distractions, and divisions—to the Lordship of Jesus, so that His likeness might be formed in us and His Kingdom revealed through us, that all might know Him.

Sunday, October 4th at 6pm the LHCC Mission Team will be hosting a mission night to take a look at how we can be local missionaries and share the gospel without going very far from home at all.

In addition to some food and fun, we are excited to have Ed & Erin Trask our local missionaries from FCA of RI sharing that evening. All are welcome to join this special night to fellowship and learn more about ways to serve and be a part of the great commission right here in RI!

Today, we celebrate the dignity of work, the blessing of serving others, and the many ways God uses our gifts and efforts to make a difference.

May we find purpose in our work, gratitude in our blessings, and strength in knowing that when we serve faithfully, our work can be a reflection of God’s love.

One week away we will start 10 Days of Prayer from September 11 - 21 beginning the evening of Sept. 11th.

It’s celebrated simultaneously in cities and towns around the world on an annual basis and we joyfully join with them in unity for a time of prayer, worship, and repentance.

The theme this year is Pursue, to run after the heart of God with undivided devotion. Participate with us and follow our daily posts.
